I don't really use Chapstick that much, or any other lip balm really. It does what it states - protects your lips especially during winter, but I wouldn't say it'll moisturize. One thing with any lip balm is that it forms a film over you lips so you think it's more moisturised, but it doesn't actually do any moisturising just prevents the lips from losing more moisture. My lips do feel quite greasy or waxy after you use it, which is why I don't use it that much. I've tried quite a few different ones from the Chapsticks range but I find they all leave that same greasy effect. Although it does say use frequently, but if you use a lip balm more than three or four times a day, then it can make you lips more dry!!

Tips: If you have chronic dry lips then you should try drinking more water
I love the strawberry flavor and always have one in my purse. It smells and tastes delicious. It is super easy to put on when I am on the go and feels nice and moisturizing. When I am out on my bike for hours in the harsh conditions (hot sun or freezing wind) it is nourishing, protects my lips and lasts the distance.
Tips: Keep one in the bathroom and apply before bed, wake up in the morning with lovely lips that taste delicious
A great way to keep your lips moist all day. The colour ones are great, I use the pink. I'm lazy with lipstick and can't be bothered to reapply so I use the long lasting lipsticks. Only problem with these is they dry your lips out so I use the Chapstick pink to enhance the colour and add shine. I keep one in my car one in my desk at work and one in my handbag
Tips: It doesn't melt in the car so keep a spare for when your lips feel yuck. Lasts for ages and isn't sticky feels moisturizing and plush. Doesn't taste disgusting either
This is such a handy lip balm to always have on you. Small packaging so it fits into you're pocket, purse or where ever. It's small price also makes it friendly on the wallet too. Great strawberry scent and doesn't taste like wax if you happen to lick your lips and get it in your mouth. But more importantly it prevents the dried out, chapped lips feeling, it leaves your lips feeling refreshed, smooth and well hydrated.
Tips: I use it over top of my lippie as a gloss but with extra benefits
Who hasnt owned a chapstick at least 1 chapstick in their life? They have been around for years and for good reasons. They work! They have moved with the times introducing new and exciting flavours and colours. They have an spf which is great for sun or snow and they keep your lips full of moisture. They are affordable so you can have more than one on the go. They are great for the kids to have in their school bags as well. A great basic for everyone.
I honestly say it that I have these goodies handy at home, work, handbags, bathroom, in my car and absolutely love it!! They keep my lips nice and supple and having soft lips is everyone's favourite. Especially at severer weather/ seasons such during winter I apply generously. They are cheap, comes with various flavour (pink is my favourite) and does magic to your lips..well, it does to mine!
Tips: Usually apply it before applying lipstick.
I absolutely love this chapstick. I have been using them for years and am never disappointed with the results. I work in an office and have noticed that I get very dry skin and lips so I always make sure I have one of these in my pocket. I have a mini breakdown if I dont have one handy. It feels so nice on my lips and is easy to use. They are very affordable and readily available in shops. I would recommend this to everyone. I always carry one with me and even have another in my bedside cabinet. This is a fantastic product.
A must have. Inexpensive, and by far the best product i have ever come across for chaped and sore or dry lips. I prefer the origional and the whole family uses this product, kids to husbands.
... the days before the Lipsmackers craze, anyway.
We were on to something back then. This stuff is cheap and it works.
I nostalgia-tripped recently and added a Strawberry Chapstick to my groceries. Back in the day I always had either a strawberry or original one of these handy!
The packaging is pretty reminiscent of those 90's schoolgirl days... the black and white logo on the red background doesn't seem to have changed much, nor does the product within.
The lip balm 'finger' twists up from the white plastic tube, and is a pale red. It's a quite soft, creamy consistency, but holds its shape well in the tube.
There is nothing much natural tasting or smelling about this - it's faux strawberry in all it's girly glory but like I said that takes me back to my schoolgirl time and makes me smile.
Chapstick works. It takes dry chapped lips and almost instantly smoothes and soothes, leaving softer, more supple lips behind - so I forgive the artificial, slightly waxy scent and flavour when it's so effective. Since leaving my initial Chapstick days behind I've tried nearly everything else on the market and it's nice to know that we had it right to start off with all those years ago!
We were sun smart too... it's SPF 15!
Whenever I'm out and find that my lips are dry, sore and cracked if I'm unable to find my absolute favourite lip-balm I turn to these. I find that they work really well when a thin layer is applied and help heal and hydrate my cracked lips. They don't have an unpleasant taste that so many others do as I am prone to licking my lips, so this is a big plus for me. I must admit I am unsure of how many of these I buy a year as I am constantly loosing them! I don't think in the many years of buying them that I have ever finished a tube. That said if they have been found by others I hope they use them, as it would be a waste to throw out such a good lip-balm.
