This is my go to lip balm. It lives up to its promise and keep my lips well moisturized without feeling heavy. I am currently using the active spf 30 since it's summer. It is the best among the supermarket brands I have tried so far and quite cheap. I can also use it all year long and always have on in my bag.

It's not the most moisturising chapstick, it is very light, however there are different flavours which is great for people who like a bit of something extra or need a plain chapstick. It has no needless extras like shine or sparkles. It works very well for ordinary lips. If your lips are extremely dry, I would use something else such as vaseline.
... the days before the Lipsmackers craze, anyway.
We were on to something back then. This stuff is cheap and it works.
I nostalgia-tripped recently and added a Strawberry Chapstick to my groceries. Back in the day I always had either a strawberry or original one of these handy!
The packaging is pretty reminiscent of those 90's schoolgirl days... the black and white logo on the red background doesn't seem to have changed much, nor does the product within.
The lip balm 'finger' twists up from the white plastic tube, and is a pale red. It's a quite soft, creamy consistency, but holds its shape well in the tube.
There is nothing much natural tasting or smelling about this - it's faux strawberry in all it's girly glory but like I said that takes me back to my schoolgirl time and makes me smile.
Chapstick works. It takes dry chapped lips and almost instantly smoothes and soothes, leaving softer, more supple lips behind - so I forgive the artificial, slightly waxy scent and flavour when it's so effective. Since leaving my initial Chapstick days behind I've tried nearly everything else on the market and it's nice to know that we had it right to start off with all those years ago!
We were sun smart too... it's SPF 15!
Ever since I can remember, Ive always seemed to have a thousand chapsticks floating around the house, in my bag, and now in my car. They are great to have on hand day to day when you feel a bit dry, but they aren't my go to when my lips start to really dry out in the winter, I need something a bit more heavy duty. For mild dryness though theyre fantastic.
I have been using these for as long as I can remember and so has my mother and grandmother. they truly stand the test of time. They moisturise and last. What more could you ask for?
I love some good old Chapstick, because it's quick, simple, and effective. My favorite is the cherry (or is it strawberry
Chapstick is a beauty essential - I have been using it since I was a child. It's a no fuss lip balm and is cheap so you can afford to have multiple ones on the go. It has a pull off cap and twists up from the base. It's a waxier lip balm, but goes on smoothly and provides reasonable hydration. I prefer the classic formulation, which has an inoffensive faint vanilla scent, but there are multiple flavours and scents available to choose from - something for everyone.
A classic that will be around for years to come in my makeup bag.
This is my go to favourite for cheap, affordable and simple lip balm. Love it. This is always in my purse
I love the Blue Chapstick. Very conditioning and really protects my lips from the weather, doesn't feel greasy and has a pleasant taste. I like the way it stays on my lips for awhile.
I love love love the original chapstick. It has a weird smell, but it's not off putting. As the name suggests, it's really effective at dealing with chapped lips. I always have my chapstick with me and it keeps my lips so soft. I also love how inexpensive it is.
Tips: Use it as a base before you apply lipstick for softer lips.
