This chapstick does what is says it does, is cheap, and always easy to find! It was the first kind of lip balm I began using on a regular basis, but over the years other brands have released chapsticks that are just as effective, if not more so, and are better scented.

Since becoming friends with idomakeup, my lip balm obsession has worsened. So much so that I love buying new ones, even if I already have 3 from the same brand. I can't help it when I see chapstick, they come out with some interesting flavors!
In the last year I have acquired quite a few of these, including Gingerbread, Peppermint, Aloha Coconut, Mango Sunrise and Watermelon Splash just to name a few. They all come in the same kind of tube, which is a few cm high, not quite a cm in width and they are delightfully easy to use. Just pop off the cap, wind up slightly and apply.
Some flavors are obviously better than others, and I personally prefer peppermint, coconut and watermelon, but I do want to add to my collection. Because of this, I also think that these three perform better than mango and gingerbread. It could be because I like them better, but I genuinely find the other three to be more moisturizing and long lasting than the ones I don't like.
I don't think these last very long in general, but they last long enough for me to forget that I needed lip balm in the first place, which is great too. I'd definitely repurchase.
This is an all round lip balm that provides protection from the elements. It does have a waxy feel to it yet is beneficial in the wind. It does have spf as an added bonus. I do prefer a natural balm and one that is cruelty free.
Tips: Ideal for protection against the elements
You can never go wrong with chapstick. Just a normal hydrating lip balm. I recommend, I always leave it my purse and one in my makeup bag
Chapstick is definitely the classic, so much so that it's become the generic term for lipbalm for many people.
I wouldn't say it's the greatest but it does a fair job. It's not as intensive in moisture as I like but it's not drying like some balms can be.
This is the balm I buy when I'm inexplicably without one on route to the beach or a hike as it's sold everywhere reasonably cheaply. This is where the spf factor comes in handy.
Tips: Try the strawberry it's yummy
Even though i have not brought one in a while, i still seem to have them pooping up all over the house. I have now found a new favourite but when i cant find that chapstick works fine, keeps my lips soft and crack free :)
I used this item when I was younger. I loved the strawberry one. It smelt so yummy when I used it. It was in a handy container and it was small, so you could pop in your pocket and take it anywhere you went. It kept my lips from getting wind burn and sun burnt. It was a great chap stick. Personally I use paw paw ointment and havnt used chap stick in a while. But if there wasnt paw paw ointment I would be still using it till this day.
Chap stick lives in my handbag as I use this one when out and about as its quick, easy and helps my lips feel hydrated when they need it.
I find some of the flavored ones a bit too strong so just go for the plain ones. Works well over top of some lipsticks too.
LOVE the smell. So amazing I couldn't resist licking it. (Not a great taste sorry). It feels smooth but isn't very moisturising. Tried this when my lips were cracked and it didn't help much. The price is very affordable and the spf is a nice little bonus.
this is a good lip balm for all accounts. only let down with this was I could taste the sunblock in the lip balm lol not too much of a bad thing and still a good supermarket lip balm
