I very regularly colour my hair, and I have used most brands available. I like how easy this product is to use, and how i DOESNT stick to your face if you accidently get it on your skin. This is a huge thing for me as I find nothing more irritating than hair dye that also dyes the face/scalp. This product also stays in my hair longer than other brands, and I don't see it was down the drain every time I wash my hair :) I also love the range of colours available, although I usually only get the one colour over and over.
I have used this hair color for over 6 years and find no fault in it. The darkest brown hair color is close to a black when first dyed and fades a little over time so is great for those who want dark hair but don't want to go as dark as black. I have almost bum length hair which is really thick and find that I can dye my roots with one bottle and only need a little over a bottle to do my full head. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who regularly dyes their own hair.
This product has never let me down! It gives me the colour I want without looking flat and people think this is my natural colour..... My hair always feels better after using it and the weekly conditioner is great. I am ash blonde and I dye my hair light brown.
Tips: My hair is quite stubborn so going blonde requires professional help but going darker is no problem!
I have been using this hair colour for as long as I can remember. Great grey coverage, which is really important to me. Does not irritate my scalp, and does no wash out quickly like some other brands. I specifically hunt down this brand when I need to colour my hair.
Tips: Stock up while it on special.
Nice and Easy by Clairol is an old favourite. It also reminds me of my mum she used to dye her hair a lot. I remember Clairol being one of the first hair dyes that I ever used.
The box is easy to open. It has simple instructions to follow. Everything you need to dye your hair in one box. The bottles and gloves were provided in the box. My mum used to get the colouring for greys. When I would do mum's hair, the colour would change straight away. She used to apply mine to my hair too. I used to get hair clips from the two dollar shop and used them to separate the hair. Finally when the colour is in I normally would put a shower cap on for about 30-45 minutes.
My results were vibrant hair color.Lasted me about 3 months before needing to dye my hair again. Is affordable from chain stores and supermarkets. Was happy with the results.
I think the title speaks for itself. This isn't the cheapest product on the market, even though it is still reasonably priced, but I find the "value" for money isn't that great.
Every single time I have coloured my hair with Nice n Easy my colour had come out different than I had expected. My hair fit the "profile" each time, I don't colour my hair in shades very different to the shade I have, but every time it leaves me disappointed.
The grey coverage is good, I must say - and the colour lasts for about eight to ten weeks. So yes, it does do what it says in that light, but never gives the colours on the box.
The last time I coloured my hair "ash blonde" (from a normal honey-like blonde) it turned out orange - and now after four weeks the orange had become a bit more subtle and faded to a browny colour.
The darker colours are better, but I won't recommend their lighter colours.
I love clairol nice n easy! I always use this when I do a bleach at home as a toner. The lightest ash blonde works amazing and gives me an even colour without yellow tones. My go to colour when I'm on a budget
Tips: Use in a well ventilated room, fumes are stinky!
times but never again. The first few applications went well, colour was okay and easy to use. I always did a strand test as my skin is sensitive. The last time I used this after just five minutes my scalp started burning to the point I had to removed immediately. Would not try again.
I seem to be in the minority for this one but I really did not like this hair colour. The smell was really overpowering and I found there wasn't enough product to colour my hair. On the good side the conditioner that comes with it is lovely and makes your hair nice and soft
