I've been using Clairol Nice 'n' Easy for years, and tried a couple of colours. I currently use the light auburn and get lots of comments about the colour. Lovely tones and highlights so looks natural and gives my hair a great shine and depth of colour. Its quick and easy to apply. I have lots of grey so need to leave it on for longer (45 mins in total). I usually start on the roots around the face as that hair seems to be the hardest to get coloured and most noticeable when not, then the rest of the roots, and the remainder of the product into the length of my hair after 30 minutes, leaving for 15 mins more. Then jump into the shower, rinse off, use the supplied conditioner, wait 2-3 mins before rinsing and Voila! a new improved, shiny, younger me. Lasts about 4 weeks with my hair having lots of grey. I actually look forward to colouring as it gives me confidence that I look good. Reasonably priced.

Tips: Wipe off any colour that gets onto your skin or put on vaseline around the hair line before colouring to prevent staining.
I dye my hair often, it is usually always black or blue black. I picked this up in natural black from Countdown, it was $9 on special and I always need 2 packs as my hair is super long. So $18 for 2 is a great, affordable price.
As always I use my own disposable gloves as every dye comes with gigantic, flimsy gloves which just fall right off. This is a standard dye, mix together then apply. This applies nice and even. It does not have an overwhelming stench. 2 packets was more than enough for my hair, I always concentrate on my roots and top half of my head with the first box then go in and saturate my whole head with the second box.
I let it sit for 45 minutes, then jump in the shower to wash out. The conditioner that comes with it is in a tube which is way better than those silly little foil sachets which are always hard to open and have hardly any product.
Once dry the coverage is even and my greys are covered 100%. It makes my hair shiny and healthy looking. I use a colour lock shampoo and conditioner and get a long lasting colour which is great. My hair does not feel damaged at all. This is a really great dye. I would definitely buy this again but would like to try it in blue black next time. A really effective, affordable home dye.
This was the first ever super market hair dye I ever used. I have always gone back to using this hair dye as it is an old favorite. I have found that this hair dye is super easy to use and gives me great coverage. This hair dye is also super long lasting and makes my hair look amazing. I do however hate the scent but every brand of hair dye I have used has stinks. Will definitely repurchase this hair dye depending on what color I am going and if they have it or not.
I loved this product I use to use it all the time, Its a great cost effective way of changing your look without needing to go to a salon. I leave the colour in about 15minutes longer than recommended to get a brighter more of a wow colour and then in a week or so I'd have the colour I really liked. I found it safe, didnt react with my sensitive skin and made my hair soft, smooth, shiny and smelt great, Didnt give me a headache at all.
Tips: Make sure you put same vaseline or a protective cream around your hairline and on your ears to prevent your skin being stained and use a shampoo/conditioner for colour treated hair to prolong the life of your colour
I have always found nice and easy to be well nice and easy it really does what it says on the box. When I was going through my "light phase" I lightened my hair then followed with their auburn colour the result was a lovely summery strawberry blonde that lasted quite a while, approximately 6-7 weeks which is great for an at home kit. I always turn to nice and easy for my lighter colour periods as I know I will get my money worth.
Have used and do not love it but do not hate it. Basic colours and product:) I would use this product if i wanted the colour that the box demonstrated on the box but would expect it to not be dramatic
Tips: If u want basic colour you could try it out....
My sister and I both use this. I lean more towards the light colours, mainly the ash blonde and she goes for the darker shades. Its so affordable and I think the finished result is great. The lighter shades I find have more of a colour blend compared to the darker shades.
I used to use their burgundy hair dye, I really liked it because I started off as a red/purple then it faded to like a brown which I liked. But if you wanted to stay the original colour it may not be a good thing. They have lots of colours to choose from too. As for it having like highlghts etc, I didn't find it any different to other hair dyes.
Like the name says its Nice n easy to use. Can be done easy on your own. Doesn't dry out your hair. Leaves it all shiny. Doesn't wash down the plug hole when washing your hair. Colours on the packs match the results when you have finished.
Tips: Keep a old T shirt for hair colouring.
I dyed my hair for many years and of all the brands I experimented with, this was the best. The colour stays well and when It does eventually fade it never turns brassy. Furthermore, the conditioner treatment they give to you is incredible! If I were to ever go back to dying my hair, this would be my first choice.
