I was lucky enough to be given 2 decent 75ml gifts of this exfoliating scrub. It is a lovely peach colour. The bamboo exfoliating powders are comparable in size to table salt. The scent is nostalgic. It is not a common bath time scent. Not sweet or fruity. Maybe a clean sandlewood type scent. It is nice but doesn't linger on the skin. This exfoliant will polish gently, rather than scrub. If you apply on wet skin it will quickly emulsify into a milk like consistency. Skin feels comfortable after use. It would be good for sensitive skin and those wanting a product for full body exfoliating. I won't purchase due to the higher end price, but it does do what it says it will.

Tips: For more scrub for your buck, use on dry skin and rinse off.
Clarins do a great exfoliating scrub, it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth but I don't feel that it does any better than a cheaper supermarket brand. If I see it at a great price, I buy it but otherwise, I use a cheaper brand - it gets used way too frequently for me to be paying $50+ each time I need to replace it.
I am a big fan of Clarins products. I have received the scrub in the free gift when purchasing other Clarins products. I wouldn't say it's wonderful or too good compared to other products. I didn't notice any big change in my skin compared to other products. It does make the skin soft and gives glow. But will I buy this product on its own? Well, don't think so. I would rather splurge on Clarins moisturiser or a serum. And comparatively other brands like lush or bodyshop has better face scrubs or face wash which are cheaper than Clarins.
As a body scrub, its ok. It does the job but I did find that you had to add a bit more pressure to really make it exfoliate. My skin felt amazing afterward, and as for the smell, its great when put on dry skin, but loses all smell in the water. So It didnt leave me smelling like a piece of fruit, which is always a bit disappointing ;-). For the price, I cant say id re purchase, but I wouldnt put it in my hate list!
Tips: Add a bit more pressure for a better result.
This is a good product but I dont think it is anything special. A cheap alternative could a achieve the same result. The scrub is quite chunky not fine and it does spread well with only a small amount needed. It does work well on areas like elbows but I am not convinced that it is any better than other products out there
This a thick, rich, peachy coloured cream full of tiny exfoliant grains. Excellent for elbows, knees, shoulders and other body bits that need smoothing. It has a light and bright floral feminine fragrance. For the body but can be used gently and sparingly on the face occasionally if you don't want to buy separate products.
Tips: If using on your face, make sure to stay away from the eye area. Ouch!
I received this as a GWP, as there is no way in this lifetime that I would spend this much on a body exfoliator, lol! Yes, it was a great exfoliating product, as you would hope, but I don't think it's a necessity.
The biggest difference I noticed with this product vs other exfoliators I have tried is that this one was super densely packed with exfoliating particles, which explains why it gave such good exfoliation. But you can achieve the same exfoliation with other products by scrubbing just that little bit more.
I wasn't a huge fan of the smell, it was quite a pungent fragranced smell that I can't quite put my finger on. The packaging was surprisingly sturdy as the lid took some effort to pop open, which made it perfect for travel. I ended up using it as a travel sized body wash (why not?!) as it was a great travel sized bottle.
Tips: If you're a big exfoliation junkie and want to spoil yourself, this is the product for you! If not, mix a bag of sugar and some oil together for a much cheaper, similar product!
I was lucky enough to receive this as a gift and it is definitely a classic, qualitiy product form a well-loved brand. The gentle fragrance is clean and the texture is great for me too, I prefer the smaller grains this scrub has as these are kider on delicate skin.
Tips: Use in the shower after sport to wash away the day.
I am a self confessed scrub addict! I LOVE to exfoliate - can't beat smooth skin after a good exfoliation! One thing that irriatates me is when you buy exfoliants and the so called 'exfoliant beads" BARELY scrub your skin! But this product certainly does what it claims to do! After one use my skin felt smoother and well exfoliated! I get quite bad ingrown hairs on my legs after shaving and have been very pleasantly surprised that only a few have appeared after using this scrub. It has what I describe as a "grown woman" smell, which I quite liked! If the budget would stretch I would be hooked!
Tips: This product is quite grainy and a little definatly goes a long way!
For the price I expect something pretty outstanding. This was just ok. Would rather spend $12 and get the St Ives one. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, feels good etc... just not well enough to explain the pricetag (except the brand...)
