Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser Review

This is truly a a wake me up morning burst product! I will wake you up and make you feel clean and fresh for the day.

But other then that, that is it! Yes you will FEEL clean and fresh but you wont look it. Well I did not. I notice no improvement with my skin at all long term. The first two days of using it it was wow but after that nothing!

If you are looking to replace your morning coffee then this is the product for you.

I don't really like giving this such a low rating, as I think it would probably work better for those with less dry skin, but overall this is a personal review, so I have to give it a personal rating.

This is quite refreshing to use, and gives a slightly cooling feel once you initially use it, so I guess it lives up to the "wakes you up" claim (although I wouldn't rely on it to wake me up instead of my morning coffee, haha!).

The smell surprised me initially: it isn't a particularly natural orange smell, which was a bit disappointing, but more of a 'dishwashing-liquid' citrus smell. The first few times I used it I felt like I should be washing the dishes instead of my face! However, it's not actually unpleasant, but just something to be aware of.

The reasons that I wouldn't use it again are:

a) I didn't experience any benefits from using it - while it didn't break me out, etc, it didn't improve the state of my skin in any way, and in fact...

b) ... it did leave my skin feeling a bit tight and dry after each wash. Not so badly that it couldn't be fixed with moisturiser, but it's not good for skin to have all the natural oils stripped to the point of feeling parched and dry. This is something that I do experience with most foaming-type cleansers, and so now I basically only use cream/oil cleansers or natural scrubs such as rolled oats, which suit my skin way better.

Overall: this is okay, and if you have less dry skin than I do then you might like it. However, I think that there are probably better, nicer-smelling equivalent products out there.

This is my families favourite cleanser (even the boys use it). It is super affordable and often on special so is a regular purchase.

The scent of this face wash is a fake orange scent which is nice enough and you get used to but isn't my favourite scent. It does help with helping you feel refreshed though.

I find this wash cleanses my face well without harshly stripping it of all the oils and leaving the skin dry and tight and helps keep my skin clear from breakouts. In saying that though it is more drying than some and I always follow up with a hydrating moisturiser. I have sensitive dry prone skin and this wash has not irritated my skin or terribly dried out my skin even more.

Overall, this is not a personal favourite of mine but it certainly is great for those with more oily skin. My other family members have oily skin and they all love this face wash.

Every single clean and clear product i've ever used has made my skin worse. This was no exception. It almost seemed to spread my acne around my face even more that before, while also drying out my skin. Never again.

I have very sensitive dry and reactive skin. I decided to give this a try as I was sold on the invigorating morning burst idea plus the ads for this actually lured me in a little. The price was really good I thought not bank breaking stuff. The packaging was nothing special to look at but the pump was great it delivered the right amount of product it didn’t get blocked up or not work sometimes and the pump locked so this was a bonus for me. Consistency wise it foamed up really well and the little beads felt nice and refreshing to the touch. I did find the smell was a little bit overpowering , to me it smelt a bit like a mixture of citrus and dishwashing liquid so I would not rate this on smell I prefer a softer smell. It did make me feel like it woke up my skin, I think a combination of the beads the smell to be honest but I think that’s about it for pluses for me. It dried out my skin terribly after a few days of using even a little flakey unfortunately and it didn’t help with diminishing any blemishes or spots for me.

I like to try out new products. I got this for $6 on clearance which was a bargain. It comes in a large bottle with a pump.

It smells very refreshing, a lovely citrus scent which I find really appealing. It is a thick gel with small exfoliating beads.

Unfortunately for me it stings my face quite bad and is on the verge of a burning sensation. I had a similar experience with another clean and clear cleanser.

I was not able to continue using this, I'm glad I got it for cheap. Be careful if you have sensitive skin, perhaps do a patch test first.

I promised myself I would never do a one or two sentence review but there is just not much to say about this and I don't think anyone should waste their hard earned coin so here goes. The smell is overwhelming on, more than a touch sickly. Bursting bubbles is more like hundreds and thousands of little beads that are uncomfortable and just feel slightly odd. Gels in my opinion don't feel like they do anything for your face, there is no fun foam or refreshing feel. This particular specimen felt gluggy. Using a hot flannel would have been 100 times more efficient.

This was defiantly not suited to my skin as its prone to be rather dry. I feel like this stripped my face of any natural oil and left my skin feeling very dry. I really wanted to try this as its affordable and had the promise of waking up/ energize skin as I'm not a morning person ;)

The only thing I really liked about this cleanser was popping the bursting beads against my skin. I naturally have very dry skin and this made my skin a lot worse and I found myself getting that very tight feeling on my face after use. I also found myself applying quite a lot of moisturiser onto my skin after using this to make up for it. It is affordable and the design of the bottle is great for quick and easy use but I wouldn't use it again.

This is deffinetly a great morning face wash it smells and feels very awakening but made no change to my skin at all after a month and abit of use .
