Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser Review

This is deffinetly a great morning face wash it smells and feels very awakening but made no change to my skin at all after a month and abit of use .

I always use Clean & Clear products and I never have any problems with them, the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Cleanser was a slight exception though. I find this product good as it doesnt dry my skin out and it leaves it feeling soft but I have found that if I use this product for long periods of time I start to break out a little. It is a good cleanser if used less frequently though.

I received some free samples of this a while back and so used it daily. It was a great little go-to cleanser that did the job, but it did have a tendency to dry my skin out a bit which in turn caused blackheads. It was great when my skin was especially oily and it smelt great and it seemed to give pimples the boot too.

This is in our shower as the 'shower cleanser'. I have a different cleanser at the basin, and I also have another cleanser in the shower as I'm not really convinced this one is very good.

It's a bit like a body gel- never really as good as a nice cake of soap, this cleanser doesn't remove all my makeup as when I dry my face after using it there are usually smudges of foundation left on the towel. I much prefer a decent cleanser.

It smells great, the it's fun to pop the little balls and it really freshens up your face but I feel it isn't good enough to remove makeup, you would have to cleanse twice which i think it is too harsh to do. I guess that's why it's 'morning burst' as it is best suited to a morning quick clean.

So at the moment my husband mainly uses it in the shower but I can't say it's doing anything great for him!

You are better off spending your money on a decent, more skin specific cleanser that will give you better results.

I picked this up in my weekly shop. I always use cleansers everyday as part of my skincare routine . My skin type is normal. Notice my skin changes with the weather.

This bottle is a pump bottle clear so that you can see the product through it . Consistency is like a gel with exfoliating beads. Application it foams up nicely has a fresh citrus scent.

Overall I found this did clean my skin. Works well as a daily cleanser. I think it’s a good alternative for anyone starting out with skincare.

I used to use to product when I was a teenager. I remember that at the time I did rather enjoy the product and found it rather a standard, affordable supermarket cleanser.

To be honest I cannot really remember the smell, due to this I don't think it was overpowering.

The cleanser is mainly liquid with little beads in it which I did not find rough on the skin at all, but I also did not find they were particularly helpful with exfoliating.

When I used this product I did not have any complaints against it, only that I grew up and found cleansers that to me have a much nicer texture, clean better and are more moisturising. Nowadays when I think of the texture of this cleanser, it reminds me of dish soap.

Basically, it did what it said it would, but was not outstanding enough for me to recommend it to a friend.

I've owned this cleanser for quite a while now and I'm sad to say that it is because it is too harsh for my dry skin. I would not recommend this for people with dry or sensitive skin as this cleanser can sting your face and make it drier than normal afterwards. I've had to apply a thick layer of moisturiser to my face immediately after using this to prevent the drying effect it leaves.

However, it does do what it states on the bottle. This cleanser does wake me up with it's invigorating citrus scents. It smells like zesty oranges. It does give a good deep clean. The bursting beads are also great for an awakening affect because they do freshen up your face - plus they're fun to burst with your fingers.

One concern that I do have is that many reviewers are commenting that these beads are exfoliating. They are not exfoliating. Very few beads are distributed every use (around 4 beads per use) and they are soft beads that burst in your fingers thus releasing awakening vitamins.

My final verdict is that this cleanser is great for freshing up your skin. The beads are fun to burst on your face and the smell is pleasant. For those with particularly oily skin I would recommend this. The price is reasonable and it's one of the cheaper products that you can easily buy at the supermarket. But, for those with dry, sensitive or normal skin - stay away! This product has a harsh and severely drying after-effect. If you do happen to buy it, make sure you don't use it everyday and apply a thick layer of moisturiser immediately after use.

this really cleanses oil from my skin but when i use it too often my skin just drys out, my boyfriend said that this made his skin tingle and burn so ive become very weary of how harsh this product is and if whats in it is actually good for my skin

This product as a morning cleanser did work to wake up my skin but left it feeling tight and dry, and after using it I found my skin getting dryer and dryer as the days went on
