Honestly if I had to pay for this, I would have skipped it. Compared with some of my lipsticks including my Clinique ones, I don't find it is worth the money.
The plushest punch colour is really intense at first but it fades for me quickly compared with a lipstick. The stick is a balm type product and does feel moisturising on the lips. It goes on easily and it is in the popular chubby stick form, but much like the baby tint version I found this wanting. It wants to be a grown up lipstick but isn't. Save your money and buy a good lipstick.
These are more pigmented and matte in texture than the original formula - this also makes them longer wearing. The only downfall for me is the shade selection - the only wearable/closest to neutral shade for my complexion was 'curviest caramel' a deep peachy/coral based nude which is to be honest not that flattering for me at all. I love the formula of these but wish there were more shades, infact these are most similar to the ones Clinique released in the early 00's which were wooden pencils - I still prefer the original formula (the first edition of these wind up pencils) over these which were more balm like and shiny in texture but really like the matte long-wear of the intense formula - just wish there were more neutral/nude shades available.
