to be honest i was horrified for how much people pay to use this product, I received mine as a gift Thank god, I did find it being quite elegant and posh with its packaging, but compared to other moisturisers you can buy for max $15 at a supermarket I think i would just stick to that, as they both do the same job and this product isnt as great the texture is quite oily and just doesnt suite my skin needs

I used to be a Clinique girl - loved the whole range, and particularly this moisturiser. It's calming and hydrating, melts in beautifully, and comes in good packaging with a hygienic pump dispenser. BUT - and this a biggie for me - it costs WAY more than I want (or need) to spend on a moisturiser. There are loads of other lovely, effective, equally gentle and hydrating creams out there for highly sensitive skin like mine - and for a fraction of the price (like CeraVe, Cetaphil, Aveeno, Neutrogena...) Clinique's DD does what it says, but I would use it again only if I were given it for free, and I'd recommend to a friend only if they really wanted to splurge on a moisturiser for some reason.
Tips: Use a much cheaper but just-as-good alternative!
I like this lotion but I feel like with makeup it can mess with the new foundations I try sometimes, plus I prefer moisturisers with more of a gel texture which is why I had to give a lesser rating, but I reckon for those who just love moisture with or without makeup this is amazing! I am currently trying out the Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser as its more of a texture I prefer.
I don't believe it deserves the title 'dramatically' different as it just did the same job as my usual moisturizer which is also half the price of this one. It was nice but definitely overpriced. It felt a little greasy on my skin which I found strange as I have normal to dry skin usually.
I got this as a gift so I'm not complaining but it did prove not to be something I'd pay my own money for. It was certainly adequate, didn't do any visible harm etc, but not something I'd recommend the purchase of.
I gratefully received a free sample of this from clinique. I have quite dry skin, that's super sensitive so I was pleasantly surprised when my skin didn't freak out or break out from this product. This product is fine, it's absolutely fine but that is just the problem... Isn't it supposed to be dramatically different? It's a nice light formula that absorbs quickly into the skin but it's not special. I like a lot of clinique's products but I feel like this is just a sales pitch with no backing. It's a nice moisturiser but with the price tag attached it becomes unnecessary.
Tips: I liked to use it to seal in my rosehip oil.
I have been using this on my face at night for about 4 months now and I like it but can't justify the price of it. It makes my skin feel nice and silky but I'd rather spend less and find something else
I really liked this product and I found it very moisturising however if I had a really dry patch it would sting when I applied it. I would not recommend this product for anybody with sensitive skin or dry patches, or people with skin conditions. For the price you definitely get a lot of product.
I had been using this for years,a dn recently, they changed the formula, not sure if it's just my fussy skin, but it doesn't like this one as much. This one doesn't settle into my skin as well and I find leaves a residue. I re-gifted to my mother however and she loved it. Maybe my combination skin is not as well suited.
Tips: Mosturisers, reading reviews is hard, I find it best to find a blogger that has similar skin type (you should be able to tell when you find you use similar products and have the same 'holy grails' - then stick with their recommendations
Ive used this product for a while now, but Ive been finding it isn't as effective as it used to be - perhaps as my skin ages, its needs something a little more heavy duty? Benefits: Compact pump bottle, so no mess, and a little goes a long way. Also, it absorbs quickly, so if you don't have much time to wait between using it, and doing makeup, its very handy. Downside (for me anyway) - It used to be effective for me when I had dry areas of skin, but doesn't seem to work any more. So for me, although its a product I like, its probably time for me to say good bye to it.
Tips: Don't pump too much - normally 1 or 2 pumps will be enough.
