I was given this 3 step pack for Christmas a few years ago and I have never gone back. Firstly I love the packaging, it's a large green bottle that's semi transparent so you can see how much product you have left, there's a lot of product in it (it's quite big but you can get travel sizes which last forever too) , the pump is so handy, you can easily control how much you pump out (usually 1-2 pumps) The product itself lathers really well on my skin and really does make it feel calm/smooth. I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and I find that it doesn't agitate or dry out my skin and I found it really did help with the acne on my face, if I used thus after I removed my makeup at night time. I found that a few cleansers really dry out my face, this one however, didn't. It lasts me forever thankfully! I usually pick up one every year along with the clarifying lotion. It makes my skin feel so clean and refreshed The product has been adapted 3 different ways for different skin types so you'll definitley fine one for you :)

I had my make up done at a Clinique store one day and they washed my face with the Liquid face soap before. This product is amazing, its a clear gel that is dense but spreads easy - I only use one pump for my whole face. This product is amazing for combination skin and this is the ONLY product that has cleared up my acne. I love this product because it doesn't smell or feel that is has harsh chemicals, it has a fresh smell to it. This product lather's into a foam when applied on the face and takes my make up off also. I always follow up with a toner afterwards and I find if the cleanser has missed any make up the toner will get it! My skin is so clear and feels nice and firm. I use this day and night.
Tips: Wet your face before using.
This is my go to cleanser. I have been using it for years now. I have tried others but always go back to this one. I apply with bath mitts, using two pumps each time. The price is ok for a good quality product, and a bottle lasts about 4-5 months. It foams slightly when applied to the fingertips of the mitts, and covers face, neck and decolage easily with the two squirt amount. I find it keeps break-outs at bay and removes tired pimples easily. It clears away the dry skin from through the night, and used in conjunction with the 3 step toner and moisturiser is the perfect way to start the day. My skin feels soft and clean without feeling dried out.
I love this cleanser. I have dry skin but i prefer this one ofer the cream cleanser. It didnt dry out my skin at all there is no need for double cleans it takes of my makeup with just one wash.
Its fragrance free so its perfect for sensetive skin and it disnt make my skin break out or irritated.
This os money well spend.
Tips: Money well spend
I absolutely love this product. It gently removes my makeup and any built up dirt without irritating my skin. I have super sensitive skin so this is quite amazing, so stoked I found this.
I LOVE this product!!!!! I have been using it solidly for a year now and don't think I will ever stop. The price originally put me off as it was $39.95 at farmers but the very helpful lady at the Clinique counter convinced me to give it a try. One bottle lasts around 2-3 months using it twice daily so it's actually worth spending the $40. It comes in a transparent green bottle so you can see how much you have left and one small pump is more than enough to give you a deep clean. I have combination/ normal skin and I feel this is suited to my skin type perfectly. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you have dry skin as it does tend to dry the skin a little. One big difference in my skin is fewer blackheads. I'm positive it's all down to this amazing cleanser
Tips: Could be a bit harsh on drier skin tones
I have dry skin and although it says use twice a day i did for the first 2 weeks and now i use it at night to take my makeup off. I found that even when i was using it twice a day i have no different effect than just using it once a day. It didnt get off eye makeup as well as i was expecting (e.g under eye concealer) as id still have some makeup residue left behind. Its super easy to use and the smell isnt toxic or over powering so im still happy to use this daily to get my makeup off. I usually dot it on my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin and then use warm water to get it all bubbly and white to make sure i didnt miss any spots. It does leave my skin soft and then moisterise my face before bed.
I have tried the Clinique 3 step system in various stages of my life but no product from the line has performed as well for me as the Liquid Facial soap.
This is a relatively newcomer to the 3 step line-up (previously they just had their cleansing bars which don't work well with my skintype)and I have purchased a couple of these over the past few years in the Mild variant. This is a very effective foaming cleanser which is very gentle yet very good at removing eye makeup.
There is no fragrance. This is a slightly runny clear liquid 'soap' it is foaming when mixed with water but it is not dryingly foaming. The product comes in a lovely frosted pale Clinique green bottle with a handy pump top. It dispenses just the right amount of product for each application. It doesn't sting my eyes unlike other facial washes and it washes away cleanly with no residue. This is also very, very concentrated so you really get your money's worth - one bottle lasts me up to 8 months or so, so very economical for the $40 or so you pay for this product.
Overall, a great cleanser especially when I was slightly younger and had not so dry skin, but as I prefer cream cleansers and cold creams nowadays I am personally not likely to repurchase, however I could definitely still use this as a quick shower cleanser when required without compromising the condition of my skin.
Tips: Don't be put off by the price - this will last you a lot longer than some cheaper facial cleansers and could save you money in the long-run!
I bought this after trying a sample and being really impressed. It's a very basic cleanser, and has no obvious scent. It's a clear liquid that is quite runny and foams up easily. I use one pump and that is plenty. I use the dry combination formulation though my skin is oily combination, it gets extremely dry in winter.
This is pretty good value for money - you only need a small amount to foam up and wash your whole face.
Clinique, when it comes to skincare products for me seem to be perfection! I have dry, sensitive skin which tends to react to some products, but not Clinique.
There has been many times I have strayed from the Clinique three step skincare to try other products, but I keep going back to it. Why? Because it seems to be so moisturising and hydrating for my dry skin.
The packaging is distinctively Clinique, with the iconic C and lovely sleek, stylish pump bottle. Clinique products always look high quality and attractive. The pump is great, as it is so handy and dispenses the right amount of product. It's also hygienic, which is definitely a plus.
This liquid facial soap is such a lovely cleanser. The formula is so gentle, yet is so effective taking off your days makeup. It's great that it doesn't sting my eyes like other cleansers. After using this my skin feels so clean, refreshed and healthy. No uncomfortable tight feeling with this!
I then follow this cleanser with the clarifying lotion and dramatically different moisturiser. Using these products gives my dry skin much needed moisture and hydration.
I can't recommend this product enough. Clinique has made such a winner here.
Tips: Follow this cleanser with the clarifying lotion and dramatically different moisturiser.
