Recently I decided to buy this to help whiten my yellow tinged teeth caused from too much coffee and.... dare I say it,smoking!..I was quite disappointed with the end result,my teeth didn't look any whiter or even show any sign of whitening up after a week of using it,not even a slight glimmer of white :(..I have not brought this since. It may be ok for those who don't smoke but it did nothing for me.I am still searching for my HG teeth whitening product.

I didn't really like it. I used it for 3 weeks and didn't notice any difference in the whiteness of my teeth It also tasted yuck and chemically. I wouldn't buy it again
i guess I shouldn't be disappointed, I haven't yet encountered an over the counter tooth whitener that does what it claims. Sure there may be an improvement but it doesn't deliver the dramatic results we want.
Tips: Go to your dentist!
I found this product at the local supermarket and Im always interested in products to make my teeth whiter. I found the product a bit pricy but I thought I give it a try anyway.
The toothpaste comes in a great red tube which I find very appealing compared to the standard toothpastes out there.
I used this products every day for more than 4 weeks. the taste is pleasant, not overpowering which I enjoyed. But I cannot say that I saw any improvement on the colour of my teeth, definitely not 3 shades lighter. After all I was a bit disappointed considering the higher price of the product.
So my search for the best product will continue...
I tried this for four weeks to see if it worked. At the start after a couple of weeks I noticed my teeth were getting a bit whiter and thought great I'll keep going with it. But after that they just seemed to stay the same so I didn't use it longer than the 4 weeks, it seemed like a waste of time. I won't buy it again
Always striving for whiter teeth, I used the Colgate Optic White toothpaste for two months, with no visible difference in the whiteness or brightness of my teeth. I used this toothpaste morning and night, and sometimes cleaned with a standard toothpaste afterwards as I didn't feel minty fresh with the Optic White alone. I noticed no sensitivity after using this product - something I did experience with the Crest Whitening Strips.
Two months after using this toothpaste I had been reading reviews and saw lots of warnings about whitening toothpastes (not just the Optic White) making people break out around the chin area. This was at a point where I had very clear skin, but had had a month of 5-8 blemishes all in one spot, on one side of my chin. I immediately stopped using the toothpaste, and they cleared up pretty quickly. I don't want to say that it WAS the toothpaste, but it may be something to watch out for.
The bonus to using this toothpaste was that I took more care brushing my teeth. Envisioning whiter teeth certainly makes you brush for longer!
Colgate is my usual toothpaste choice and it has always worked well for me so I had some expectations that this would work. I wanted to try this as I have a few stains from drinking coffee.
The packaging is eye-catching in a bright shiny red tube with a flip top lid. It is easy to dispense the right amount from the tube.
The texture is typically of their other toothpastes but the taste is horrible. I followed the directions on the box and I used this twice a day for a good month but I really didn't notice any difference in the shade colour of my teeth.
No I would not repurchase.
I do have generally a sensitivity to my teeth, and they aren't too badly stained but after receiving a sample of this toothpaste I stuck it into my travel bag for use while on the road, as my only toothpaste and wow I wish I didn't.
Let's address the elephant in the room first, it claims to give you whiter teeth, no it did not even after a fortnight of twice a day brushing did it give even a hint of a brighter smile.
It did, however, make my mouth and teeth feel clean, but no more than regular toothpaste, it did have a minty freshness as well.
It did also give me the most painful experience whilst eating ice cream or drinking cold drinks, which I can only gather is from an agent stripping a layer off of your teeth and for someone who already has sensitivity there this was an awful experience.
I wouldn't recommend or repurchase this as it is a waste of money, and a lie of claim.
I wouldn’t say that this toothpaste whitens considerably BUT I feel it does maintain an already white smile. It is affordable, constantly on sale so is a good affordable option for maintaining teeth after a more effective whitening treatment.
Tips: Use between more intensive whitening treatments
I bought this toothpaste because I was hoping this would brighten and whiten my smile. I have been using this for several weeks and now the tube is almost finished. Unfortunately it didn't out perform any of the cheaper toothpastes in the whitening department, so I'm going to save my money and buy a cheaper toothpaste instead of this. Other than that it freshened my mouth and cleaned my teeth but so does regular more reasonably priced toothpaste.
