Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I got this toothpaste just for a change as I had been religiously repurchasing White Glo for a few years, and I've found a worthy rival for my usual toothpaste in optic white! Now this toothpaste is quite pricey in comparison to my regular white glo, but I beleive that it is justified in that it is much gentler and much more pleasant tasting.

My teeth were already relatively white to begin with and I haven't noticed them appearing any whiter than usual with this toothpaste, although it's certainly maintained the whiteness of my teeth and I honestly didn't expect them to get any whiter than they already were.

This is the best tasting toothpaste i've ever used, typically minty but very mild. It's a lot less foamy and has a thinner consistency than most other toothpastes, and feels very gentle but effective and leaves me with a really clean feeling. I've noticed that i'm brushing my teeth less often since using this toothpaste as I tend to get excessive with brushing my teeth, but my teeth feel clean for longer with this.

The pretty colored ruby red tube is softer and more flexible than other ones so you can easily squeeze every last bit out, and has a large flat top so it can stand up vertically.

This toothpaste has impressed me for sure and I think that i'll stick with it even though it is damn near twice the price of my usual one, it stands out to me as being quite delightful as far as toothpaste goes.

I'm not convinced that this product did what it promised. Maybe I should have taken before and after photos but I certainly didn't have anybody comment to me! It wasn't the most pleasant toothpaste either, with a very dry texture. I didn't make my mouth feel fresh and clean.

I tried this toothpaste and to he honest i seen no difference in my teeth they didn't go any shade whiter I would not buy this again

I'm not a big fan. I gave it a fair go, purchased 2 tubes of it and saw absolutely no change at all (thought it may take a while to see a difference because of all the coffee I drink) . But nothing. I did like how amazingly smooth my teeth felt and how the taste of the tooth paste wasn't too strong and over powering but I get that from my normal paste any way. I wouldn't waste my time or money on buying it again.

This is the only toothpaste I will buy, I love it.

This toothpaste is pricey, especially for the amount of product you get but for me it's worth it. It has a fresh, minty flavour to it like most toothpastes and leaves your mouth feeling squeaky clean. After using this toothpaste for 3-4 days I started to notice my teeth were whiter and brighter. It was only a shade lighter but I was happy to see results. I use this toothpaste regularly and I highly recommend you try it.

I brush my teeth like 3 times a day and I between that I use mints coz I love having fresh breath I think there's nothing worse then having bad breath, such a turn off. I found after purchasing I didn't need to resort to mints all the time my breath stayed fresh for a lot longer. They also bring out the natural whiteness in your teeth which is an added bonus as I love bright lipsticks and nothing worse then having yellow stains !

I didn't really like it. I used it for 3 weeks and didn't notice any difference in the whiteness of my teeth It also tasted yuck and chemically. I wouldn't buy it again

i guess I shouldn't be disappointed, I haven't yet encountered an over the counter tooth whitener that does what it claims. Sure there may be an improvement but it doesn't deliver the dramatic results we want.

This toothpaste is ideal for anyone who wants to whiten and brighten their teeth!! This will whiten your teeth 3-4 shades lighter! It's guaranteed to change the colour. I use this as my everyday toothpaste and love the effects on my teeth colour.

I got this in a goody bag from chick's at flicks movie night. I was pretty stoked at the goody bag you get. The tube looks super high end in its shiney metallic red. It's not usual to rest if Colgate toothpaste. The tube sits flat on its flip top lid. The paste is normal in consistency the colour is white and the taste is not anything different from the plain Colgate. So unexpected. so the tube states that with four weeks use you will see white teeth. Whiter then usual. I beg to differ I've been using this for 4 weeks. And see not change and seem to feel the extra need of mouthwash as it feels like it's not cleaning my teeth enough. There is no fresh after taste absolutely nothing. So we're do all the powers lay? I don't know. The tube thought lasts 2 people in excess of 4 weeks. With brushing 3 x per day. I wasn't impressed at all and wouldn't pay the price for another one.
