Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I have been using this toothpaste for about 2 months now.. I drink waaaaay to much coffee (how much is too much anyway?) so I thought I'd give this a try. I like the metallic red tube. For the price I would like a bigger sized tube, but having said that, it did last me a month then I brought another. I also like that it stands on it's lid. Another plus, is when you get to the end you can unscrew the plastic flip cap and encourage the last dregs out of the tube. The taste is nice and minty (I don't like it any more or any less than any other toothpaste), and I like the gritty feel. It leaves your mouth feeling very clean. One plus about the smaller size, it's great for a sponge bag (I travel a bit, so like smaller size items). This toothpaste doesn't foam up as much as regular brands, but that's no reason to hate it.... The only thing I don't like about it, is that I don't notice any visible signs that my teeth are whiter. I would buy it again, because i like it as far as toothpaste go, but I don't think this really cuts the mustard as a whitener.

I've been desperately trying to whiten my teeth ever since my braces left them stained. Sadly, this did not work well. I saw a slight change in the colour of my teeth but nothing amazing. They were still yellow by the end of the tube. This is also tastes foul! The texture is really pastey and just horrible! I will continue my search for something else. That works.

This toothpaste does not whiten my teeth at all but I absolutely love the strong refreshing minty taste it provides.

I love how it gives your mouth a warm tingly feeling when you brush with it - this is the reason I repurchase the toothpaste all the time.

I am sad that it doesn't whiten my teeth as it had so many amazing reviews on youtube. Maybe I'm the only one that it doesn't work on :(

Anyways I will continue to buy it as I love how fresh it makes my breath.

This product tastes so bad. I was resistant to use it every time I put it onto my toothbrush which was disappointing since it is more expensive then normal tooth paste and promised a lot- yet if I can't put it in my mouth I won't get many benefits. I think it did work to an extent but Its not as good as the whitening at the dentists.

I have been using this toothpaste for a few weeks now and I have only noticed a slight change i whiteness (although my wishful thinking may be tricking my eyes). The weird thing I have found with this, is that I wake up with white stringy stuff inside my mouth on my inner cheeks. So gross! I did some research and apparently this is really common with whitening toothpastes and the peroxide burns your mouth and its just a reaction to the chemicals. Apart from that, I suppose it's just like any other toothpaste. I wouldn't go out and buy it again.

I brought this to give it a go. I found that the price of this is quite high but I thought if it did the job then it would be worth it. The texture of this toothpaste is a little bit different to other toothpaste so it takes a while to get use to. After finishing this toothpaste, i didnt notice much of a difference in the colour of my teeth. I also didnt like the fact that there is a lot of chemicals in the toothpaste, that may be doing more harm to your teeth then good. Due to the price and the lack of results, I won't be repurchasing.

As with most Colgate toothpaste products, it has a nice, refreshing taste which lasts well however, I didn’t notice any great whitening to my teeth. I do drink a fair bit if coffee and some red wine but find that whitening pens or activated charcoal tooth powders have been much more effective in terms of whitening.

I have been using this for over a month now and the results are not what I expected at all. I did notice a slight change, a shade lighter at the best. I did have high expectations so felt rather ripped off . A lot of people said they liked the taste but I thought it was awful! It took awhile to get use to. I did enjoy the after taste though, and my teeth felt cleaner for longer. Also I noticed that about halfway through the tube it started to get really watery, and super strong tasting...I figured that the whiting agent wasn't mixed it completely! yuuk!

Have been using for a month and I havent noticed much difference, I have naturally yellow stain-free teeth. I have asked 3 different dentists and they said my enamel is naturally yellower. which is annoying because I really want them pearly whites!!!

I like how the toothpaste feels clean and has that same weird heating sensation you get from the chemicals the dentist uses :)

My partner has been using it and his teeth are whiter!
