I have tried peppermint and spearmint. Spearmint is my fave, after brushing I use it to get that extra clean mouth and teeth. Refreshing after taste and not as strong flavour wise as peppermint is, spearmint reminds of the white extra chewing gum, yummmy x

I've been using this for years quite happily and only switched when Colgate brought out a newer version which doesn't contain alcohol.
Having tried both I'd stick with the alcohol-free now (because it seems to be less drying of your tongue and soft tissues) but I had no complaints using this mouthwash before the alcohol-free version was available.
I avoided them for years because I thought the strong smell would translate to a strong taste (gag) and aftertaste. Plus I thought they were an expensive marketing ploy :)
In fact the taste isn't gag-worthy at all and the aftertaste disapates quickly enough.
It seems like an expensive addition to your dental care regime but once you start using it you realise you only need to use a tiny amount if you take a little extra time to properly swish it around every surface in your mouth.
Tips: I like to gently scrape or scrub my whole tongue now and rinse my mouth out with water before using the mouthwash. I never knew that a lot of the bacteria that can cause bad breath and promote tooth decay can be found on the tongue and other soft tissues of the mouth. Tooth brushing alone doesn't touch em, which us why a little mouthwash (I especially like the Total one) can do so much for good oral health and sweeter breath.
I recently decided to switch mouthwash and when I saw this at Countdown for $3.50 thought I would try it out. I got it in freshmint and a 250ml bottle. It has a large cap with a line on the inside which shows you how much to use which I find helpful.
The taste is ok but not something I love, I get an odd aftertaste, it is minty but not real overpowering like some mouthwash can be. I find some really burn my mouth so was happy that this did not.
I simply fill the cap to the line then swish around my mouth. I do this twice a day after brushing. It definitely leaves my mouth feeling so fresh and clean.
I like this mouthwash but would like to try the other flavours in this range as the flavour is the only thing I don't totally love.
I have been using this product for years and have no complaints. I only feel that it comes in pocket size bottles so that you can use it at work after eating yummy food for better breath from garlic etc.
Tips: don't rinse with water after use
Only recently got back into using a mouth rinse after brushing and must say that now I have used Colgate Plax I won't be using any other.
It has no alcohol in it which is great! There is a lovely fresh mint fragrance in the pink bottle that actually has clear liquid in it, swirl it around a little and spit. The job was done, fresh breath and clean feeling mouth extended right through to the end of the day, even after eating at lunch and dinner I find that mouth still feels fresh. Would recommend.
I use this everyday and I find it really helps give me fresh breath, it is not too strong either as I get the one that is alcohol free. I get the freshmint flavoured one. I like that the bottle is clear so you can see how much product you have left. I find that is quite a good price too and depending on the sales at the supermarket you can get a big size one for very cheap. I really feel like this is helping the cleanliness of my teeth a lot.
I use the sensitive/ gentle mouthwash and not only does it smell and taste good but my mouth also feels much cleaner and fresher after using which is just what you want in a mouthwash. Also it is not harsh on my sent I’ve teeth and gums.
I use this every evening and I really like this formulation. It is not as harsh as many mouthwashes so it doesn't give you that burning feeling in your mouth. The fact that is has no alcohol is also a bonus - I don't feel like I need alcohol in my mouthwash! It is strong enough without the alcohol to feel like it is doing the job. It makes my breath fresher and leaves my mouth and teeth feeling clean and healthy. I hate going to bed when my teeth don't feel clean, so this mouthwash is a crucial part of my evening routine.
My mouth is rather sensitive to minty liquids. Anything too minty just burns and i end up with a red mouth like i’ve just eaten chilli, so i will always have to post-rinse with lots of water, which defeats the purpose. The Colgate rinses however, are not too strong.
The pink sensitive colgate rinse was nice and light. The green tea rinse is even more amazing. It’s gentle and very refreshing. I love the taste. I recommend these two mouth rinses for those who don’t like strong rinses.
If i run out of time brushing my teeth after lunch at work, i just give a quick swirl of a cap of green tea rinse. It does the job.
I wish they would do smaller and cheaper sizes for travel.
I love colgate mouthwas they are so mild yet effective and they come in different flavours so depending on which you prefer theres somwthing for everyone!
Tips: My fav is the pink one for sensitive so try this if you suffer from sensitivity!
