Estee Lauder Double wear Stay in Place Flawless Wear Concealer Reviews

I am a mature lady,and i have dark circles and a few more wrinkles than i would like under my eyes.i read some reviews about this and i have to say it lives up to the hype. i use it under my eyes mainly and it masks the dark circles without highlighting the wrinkles. It isnt drying, so thats why its so good under your eyes. I put it on with a small damp blending sponge, and it spreads really well, and ive found its the best way to apply it. It lasts all day and i don't have any creasing under my eyes. I don't use powder with it, as i find that does accentuate the wrinkles. But this is hands down the best concealer i have ever used.

I have this is shade 2C, which is a light to medium shade. The packaging is sleek, stylish and classy, you can see the product through the container, and the lid is glorious gold. The applicator is a doe-foot type, and when applying this, the doe-foot is comfortable, and precise Formulation wise, it suits my combo skin, it's not runny, and I find it blends perfectly, without leaving a cakey mess, the coverage is magic, all redness, dark circles and imperfections are cleverly disguised, it blends into the skin instead of sitting on top of it. This lasts for a whole day, does not slide off my face at all, and no need for touch-ups throughout the day. I have tried other brands of concealer, and have been left disappointed with them, (they lacked the same coverage, and the doe-foot was uncomfortable to use) this is my holy grail of concealers, and I could not be without it, yes it is pricey, but it is worth every cent!

I have tried and tested many concealers and this was one of the few I hadn't yet tried so I thought I would purchase one when I needed to stock up on my Estee lauder double wear foundation.

The first thing I noticed and liked was how they have a selection for different under tones, I am a yellow under toned girl and this matches me perfectly.

The formula is very thick, thicker than the foundation but a small amount covers a lot of space. It covers my redness around my nose and chin very easy, I have found that it needs to be set (lightly) with a translucent powder when I use this under my eyes to prevent creasing, this is the only concealer I have found that creases slightly after 8 hours of wear time, and being in my early 30s that is a huge relief to not have noticeable under eye wrinkles.

I have been using this to cover my redness and then using a BB cream to cover the rest of my face which has been saving a lot of time and money.

I have already saved my $20 farmers voucher to repurchase a back up of this concealer, it stays put, it hides redness with ease and it does what its supposed to. If you can afford this it is worth they money. And you can imagine how incredible this is when you team it with Estee lauder double wear foundation.

I bought this concealer as I had heard it was a great concealer,I have used it ontop of foundation on blemishes,I dab it onto the blemish and blend the product with my fingers,it does cover blemishes very well,I also used it under my eyes as a concealer,I found it made my undereye area very cakey,it's a thicker concealer than most others and would not recomend using it under your eyes if you have mature skin,it did cover my blemishes all day and was very long wearing,

This is one of the best concealer I have used So far, it provides good coverage and helps to conceal any breakouts or dark under eye circles that I may be suffering from. The price is a bit high, but it is worth it in the long run as it has worked so well for me, I have the colour 02 light medium which is perfect for me. Will repurchase when I run out!

I haven't tried all that many concealers in my time, but I'm definitely a fan of this one! I bought it after being impressed with my Double Wear Foundation, and I'm so glad I did- as you can imagine, the two compliment each other beautifully, and make my morning face routine so easy! The formulation is light and creamy and blends flawlessly for an effortless finish, and really brightens up the dark bags that tend to camp out under my eyes. I'm such a fan of its brightening powers that I'll often blend a little across the high points of my cheeks for a subtle highlight. Overall, I totally recommend! It may seem like a bit of an investment for a concealer, but in my eyes it's money well spent, as one tube will also last forever!

Out of all the concealers that I have tried, and I've tried a few, this is definitely the best. I purchased it in the colour ivory for my under eye area and it's fantastic.

It provides amazing coverage whilst highlighting the area at the same time, as it is a couple shades lighter than my skin. It stays on all day and is the only concealer I have tried that doesn't crease throughout the day.

It's somewhat of a matte finish, which is weird because my dry skin usually hates anything with a matte finish as it's normally too drying, but somehow this works. Obviously you could get a colour that matched your skin for covering blemishes etc, I'm sure it'd do a great job just because the coverage is intense.

This concealer has medium to full coverage, easily cover any imperfection. It looks matte but not cakey at all. Its everything i would ask for a concealer. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

You should use it with a matte foundation and matching color. Dont use with dewy/illuminate foundation or people could see where you use the concealer.

I absolutely love this concealer. I apply it in the morning and it lasts all of the day. I find it really good that I can build up the coverage on specific problem area and I can cover redness. It also blends in very well as well and doesn't feel too heavy or thick. The sponge tip applicator makes it easy to apply.

It is a tad more expensive then other concealers but it is definitely worth the cost.

I absolutely love this concealer. i use it for both covering redness and blemishes, and also hiding the dark circles under my eyes. its light and creamy and blends in well with my foundation. its a little bit more expensive than other brands but definitely worth the money.
