I bought a beautiful coral shade and was so excited to use it but was so disappointed. The formula was too thin and the brushes on the brush left marks and not a smooth finish at all. Took three/four layers to achieve the desired colour. I know other people love these nail polishes and rave about them so hopefully I got a dud but I won't be buying again unless I can try others first.

I own about half a dozen of these nail polishes and I absolutely love Butter's formula. The colours are so vibrant and with two coats, they last for days, with or without a top coat. My favourite colours are the shimmery nude All Hail The Queen and the iridescent purply-gold Buckie.
My one gripe is that the brushes are very small and flat, which makes the polish difficult to apply for those of us without a steady hand.
Tips: Maybe find a different brush to apply these polishes with if you want a nice finish with minimal effort.
I own 2 Butter London polishes, Artful Dodger (turquoise) and Cake-Hole (pink) and love love love them!
The formula of these is great, it applies really easily, I only need 2 coats, and it seems to dry reasonably fast.
I love that it does not contain some of the nasties that other polishes do, this makes me feel better about wearing them so often.
They are pretty expensive, I got them on special, just wish I could afford a few more!
This line carries some amazing what I call very unusual shades which run neither cool nor warm and are wearable by a wide audience. My personal fave is the shade 'Aston' which is a gorgeous blush nude/toffee rose type of shade it is incredibly flattering to my super pale yet yellow skintone. Formula is lovely to apply, opaque within two coats, hardly any smell and 3 free which is a bonus (less chemicals the better) but the downfall for me is the wear time - these only last half the time my OPI's do and I get tip wear within a few hours, chips the next day with this polish which is disappointing. Also something about this formula does not react well to topical flea treatments on my dogs - even weeks after they have been treated if I brush through their fur with this polish on it starts to eat away and dissolve off of my nails - it is very bizzare but worrying and annoying so this is not the brand for me unfortunately.
I have 2 Butter London polishes Tease (a sparkly pink) and Tart with a heart (sparkly pinky/gold), and i love them both!! The square type shape of the bottle is great as they store very easily. They apply nicely but can be a little thick, i just use a little nail polish thinner and they are fine. They are a little more expensive but if you can find them on sale grab some!!
I only own this polish in one shade and thankfully didn't pay full price. The shade is lovely (don't remember the name but it's a purple based grey) but the formula isn't that great, the brush is smaller than I prefer, the formula is too thin and runny for my liking and it is very sheer. It's a decent polish and I can't give to much of an opinion because I only own one shade and I know it can vary from shade to shade but I much prefer Essie, Sally Hansen and Rimmel to this.
Overall I do like Butter London polishes but I have found the quality of the formula does vary form shade to shade. Most of the colours I own are good and only take two coats to be opaque and with a top coat last up to a week. One shade I own however, is thin and after four coats still is patchy (Keeker). For the price I think that the quality could be a lot better and should be consistent across the entire range. They do have a good colour range though and I like the names of all the colours. In terms of the packing, I like the thin brush but I find the small handle difficult to use at times. Some of my favourite colours are Slapper, Blowing Raspberries and Muggins.
I adore Butter. The lacquer glides on beautifully and they have a fantastic range of colours and shades. The best bit - it dries quickly!
These are great and I have one of them, nice colours but very small packaging and pricey I think, not sure about value here?
Amazing packaging, amazing colors, amazing product. I found these in Farmers a while back and was instantly drawn in by all the colors they had. They are a little costly but they do have a really good wear. The brush could be a little better but still worth the money!
