Maybelline The Colossal Cat's Eyes

Clumpy, it looked like i had 5 eyelashes, the formula is runny and takes ages to dry. The brush is shocking also in my opinion. The waterproof one is so hard to get off literally nearly ripped my eyelashes out.

I'm not 100% sold, seems very watery and is a lil messy. I don't feel it coats my lashes as well as other mascaras.

Maybelline collosal lash is my favourite mascara so when I saw this I figured it would just be a step up! However I was wrong. I brought two of these mascaras of a grabone deal and have been dissapointed.

For one it feels as if theres hardly any product in the bottles. Secondly the brush shape is actually hard to use and feels like youre hardly putting any product on your lashes. I am still continuing to use it as it does make my lashes long but I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone. I got it for a really good price so am happy to continue using but for retail price its not worth the money.

If I could give no stars, I would.

I bought this feeling really excited and optimistic. All other mascaras bring out my length and curl so well that I never use extensions.

I used this and multiple things happened: 1. All my eyelashes clumped together, so it looked like I had about 5 fly legs on my eye lids. 2. The mascara itself seemed incredibly runny. It was like a liquid that took forever to dry. 3. I got small amount of cat eye-ness, which is the only positive I had from this whole experience. 4. It seems to get onto your eye lids when you put it on - this is weird and never happened to me before, even with different shaped brushes. 5. After an hour, it then flaked off my lashes onto my face.

This was a real disappointment for me - I was really looking forward to a new Maybelline mascara.

I wish I had read reviews on here before I purchased this. I also wish that mascaras could be 'try before buy.' Such is life, I have learnt, now!!

Decent mascara, only needs one application to give results. Perfectly suits my eye shape too, which is probably why it works so well for me, with my 'almond' shaped eyes :) I use the waterproof version for when it's wet out, which is great, but if you don't get it all off with makeup remover it'll rub all over your eye area during the night so be careful to get it all off.

I do like this product, how ever it is super wet when i first apply it, and it gets all over my eyelid as i have long eyelashes to start with, it also tends to make my eyelashes clump together more. i'll probably never use this mascara on its own, i usually put it over the top of my cover girl mascara as it works amazing that way for me! :)

Mascara is one of my favourite make up products, so after trying the Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared I thought this one would be just as good, if not better with the brush being curved like it is..

Unfortunately, it wasn't that great at all. The brush was style in a way that was great as I have used a similar product before. The consistency was ok, but felt very messy when applying and didn't dry very quickly. After a few hours was over dry and flaky, may have just been a bad batch..

I’ve had some great experiences with Maybelline mascaras in the past, and so my expectations of this product were quite high but unfortunately it didn’t quite make the cut for me. The consistency of this mascara was just right – not too thick, not too runny, but I found the application of it a bit messy. The instructions are to brush in one long sweep from the roots of the lashes, but I found every time I have done this, I have gotten the mascara all over my eyelids. I’ve tried not going as close to the roots, but then it doesn’t seem to work as well. I did see it lengthen my lashes, but separated them too much for my personal liking. Overall, I don’t mind this mascara, but it’s not my favourite. I won’t be purchasing this one again unfortunately.

I was really disappointed by this mascara compared with maybelline's range it isn't very good. It promises these big voluminous eyes but what you end up with is just tinted eye lashes. Colossal cat eyes brush is curved so you think that it helps with curving your lashes, it doesn't. Does it improve your volume? Barely. Whenever I use this, I am reminded of the money I wasted in buying this mascara. Don't waste your time and money buying this. It's not clumpy, that's the only thing it has going for it.

So I recently purchased one of these and found that the shape of the brush actually irritated my lashes it also caused clumps and an uneven coat on lashes. The packaging is good as its a bright yellow and will be very hard to lose as for price I got mine on special so I wasnt too dissapointed.
