I was given the brow pencil but having used it for a month now I would definitely buy it. It is lovely to use as it goes on really nicely and it is easy to apply a precise shape. The texture is very good and being able to build it up is a bonus; I was able to create a very natural fuller brow effect. The mascara shaped brush on the other end enabled me to firstly brush my brow hairs into the shape I wanted but could also be used to blend the brow colour after applying for a more natural effect. The colour looked very natural and blended in well with my own brow hair colour. The colour stayed put for 6 - 8 hours.

Tips: Use the 'mascara wand' first to define the shape then again to blend the colour.
I received this brow pencil in my March beauty review beauty box and I love it. The colour is nice and the colour of the pen lasts for the whole day. It's so easy to use and it also comes with a brush. Very happy with this product. I will definately purchase another one
This is the first time I have had a brow crayon. I'm still getting used to it, I feel it comes in very dark, maybe a bit dark for me. My technique isn't 100% but I'm just not sure on this product. I liked it if I made a mistake it does come off quite easily. I love the look of this product though, it's luxury and high end looking with the silver pencil. I've heard really good things abou my this item so I'll keep trying to perfect but at the moment it's a bit too dark for my skin tone.
This is the first brow crayon that I’ve tried. I was sceptical when first trying this, I have quite dark brows as it is, and was afraid of filling them in, in case they looked far too bold and dark. Even though it is a universal brow product I still thought it would be too light for me. Needless to say, this product glides on super smoothly and looks perfect and natural. I was really impressed with this product and how it looks on my brows! I have had so many compliments on my brows and it lasts the entire day (even though sometimes I scratch or touch them), with or without brow gel over top. Once it is n, it doesn’t really smudge either which I love. The crayon is soft and waxy, so glides on and blends in with ease. The spoolie is also a godsend, it is so good for blending and distributing the product evenly. It’s also really buildable, I usually do the front very lightly and the middle and tail end darker, by going over it more and pressing a bit harder. I get flawless brows every time. The packaging is really simple and classic, the size of the crayon is easy to hold and control and the product is easy to wind up. The silver colour makes it really easy to find amongst all my other eye pencils and it is slightly taller than the rest of them too. It is a bit pricey in my opinion, but it's def worth it! I just literally love this and it is a staple in my make up collection.
Tips: Use the spoolie! It's great for grooming beforehand, but it also distributes and blends the product through really well, giving a natural look.
After receiving this in the March Beauty Review Beauty Box, I can now say I have found my holy grail eyebrow stylist tool! I have seen this brand around for awhile and thought it is great quality, a wee bit of a luxury item, so I was really stoked to see it in the Beauty Box! (we really are spoilt here) I love the packaging, quite glamourous in the chic silver pen, the wax stick is in a wind up/down pen, and there is the best little spoolie on the other end to groom your brows, before, during and after the brow process. I completely under estimated this little spoolie on the end, it does the best job ever! Makes each and every stray hair get back into place, effortlessly blends the waxy pencil out, and keeps them in place, all day long! I need to see if they sell those separately! It is really that great.
I was a bit confused about the whole 'universal brow" pencil colouring, but once I used it I took that straight back, its like this little pencil is made for me, it fills them in with no fuss, the perfect colour! I tend to go lightly feather the tool through the sparse bits and go a bit deeper through the ends, then blend it all out with the spoolie. And I am no expert at makeup in the least bit! This has just made me so much more confident in doing my brows, I feel as if its perfect for me, no mistakes, by going to dark like what can happen with powders very easily, it has enough grip in the wax pencil to keep those brows in place, and it has a good amount of product in there too.
I will purchase this again, and again! Thanks BRBB! Thanks for bringing this into my life, total game changer
I received this in the BRBB, What a good score this pencil is silver and slim it has a double sided brush at one end and the colour pencil at the other end that you just twist out like a lipstick. I have dark brows that are just starting to get abit sparse. This pencil fills them in nicely and the colour seems to be good too it is a medium brown that just blends in great it is also very easy to use. It is super light and easy to carry for any touch ups you might need but I found it lasts the whole day easily good value for money.
Tips: It sure beats the old toothbrush I used to use to tidy my brows
I found what I deemed my Holy Grail in Brow pencils... but alas this wasn't what arrived in my March BRBB but I have to admit I was eyeing it up before my previous find... so I gave it a shot.
First impressions: It has a waxier consistency to what I am used to and it took a bit of time to get my brows right. My brows are sparse at best and this pencil actually pulls hairs away as I am applying it, not the brush part but the pencil to which I was only pressing lightly... that made me a bit anxious! and to make sure it wasn't just a growth cycle effecting it.. a week later and more hairs on the end of the pencil...eeek
So I put it aside and came back again recently to give it another shot. I sat down when I wasn't rushed or needing to be anywhere and just had a bit of one on one time with it... this seemed to work better for me, so I agreed to give it another chance (I am a hard woman lol).
So after using this for a while am I converted? well not quite.. I don't mind it but I just don't love it. The colour is a bit too weak for me and it's not as build-able as I would like, the consistency is waxier than I prefer and makes my brows feel weighted (probably not a bad thing just not what I am used to), And I am still concerned over the amount of hairs it takes with application. The brush is nice and firm though and it does a good job prepping the brows and afterwards for a more natural look.
I am just a bit underwhelmed by it instead of loving it like I had hoped. I will keep it as a back up but I don't see me re-purchasing it anytime soon.
I was very lucky to get one of these in the March beauty review beauty box, this was one of those products that I had been wanting to try for months but hadn't yet purchased. It was one of the first products I tried in the BRBB.
It is a long silver pencil. Compared to the size of other eyebrow pencils this one is definitely bigger! I find because of the colour of the pencil its easier to find with the other pencils I have stored in a jar.
One side has a short haired mascara brush, I like this brush because it is dense you can push the product around more and it moves your eyebrows with a bit more force.
Normally I brush my eyebrows first, add the pencil and then brush my eyebrows again. Once I am happy with the shape of them I use the mascara brush to push the product towards the front of the eyebrow and create a slight "fade" then I brush my eyebrows upwards in the front and conceal the outsides of my eyebrows with either concealer or foundation.
The formula of the pencil is a mystery to me. It goes on light but it works well. I don't like how thick the pencil tip is as I find it hard to get a precise tail for my eyebrows so what I do now is rub the pencil onto an angled brush and use that to create a thinner eyebrow tail.
The stay power is good, you can gently rub over your face and they stay put. If you don't touch your eyebrows all day they will look perfect from morning until night.
Love this pencil! I use this everyday as it has every product I need for my brows on it. I never thought this would suit me as the shade was universal but its perfect for me! Its soft and creamy and blends well. I will definitely be re-purchasing!
I received this in the I'm Getting in the Nude Best Beauty Box Ever. This brow pencil was one of the incentives for purchasing this box. I loved the BDB brow powder in Taupe so I figured that Billion Dollar Brows truly had come up with universally flattering brow shades for most hair colors. And they did. Much like the powder this brow crayon looks natural on my fair skinned blondish, red haired friend that won't leave the house without eye brows and passably natural on me. This isn't a brow pencil like it's named, to the waxy soft texture it's more of a crayon. It goes on smoother and the wax does sort of help your eyebrow hairs stay in place better. It's easy to do your brows really quickly. And it's a great start off brow product for who don't know what shade to go for in when buying a brow pencil/crayon. It's a must for anyone who likes changing up their hair color. However, while I do like this brow crayon it's not my most favorite. My most favorite is Eye of Horus Brow Define in Nile. To compare the two the EOH one is firmer and finer tipped which makes it easy for me to draw little hairs to fill in my brows which I think looks a bit more natural than the BDB pencil and the color of the EOH one in Nile is closer to my natural hair color. At 0.27g the BDB pencil has more product than the EOH one at 0.08g. The interesting thing is that the BDB brow crayon has more natural ingredients than the EOH pencil which is marketed as a more natural brand of eye makeup and BDB isn't. Because of the texture of the brow crayon and the way it works is that if you have lighter hair you apply it with a lighter touch and if you have darker hair you go slightly more heavy handed. Because of that if I got the same amount of the EOH brow define as the BDB pencil, I would go through the BDB pencil faster. The BDB pencil is good for doing your brows quickly and the EOH one is better for adding definition and detail. Overall BDB did a fantastic job with this brow crayon and I would highly recommend it even though I do prefer EOH. I haven't decided whether I would repurchase it again at this stage but it may grow on me more and more as I use it and I may have to repurchase.
Tips: This is a great product for doing your brows quickly in the morning. Also a must for people that change their hair color frequently as it looks passably natural on most hair colors. And if you like your makeup with natural ingredients, good news this has mostly natural ingredients.
