Nars Laguna bronzer

As a beauty lover I just had to purchase this cult favourite to see what all the fuss was about! The hype is true...this is a lovely product!

The packaging is the standard gorgeous and very classic Nars packaging which I love the look off, but, hate how everything possible seems to cling to it making it grubby looking most of the time. It is a sturdy, sleek and secure case with a decent mirror inside making it a great travel companion.

The bronzer itself is a matte perfect shade of brown, neither too orange or grey making it perfect for both contouring and an all over colour. It does have a fine gold shimmer through it, but, this is more visible in the pan than on the skin and translates on the face as more of a healthy glow which is why I describe it as matte (there are no visible glitters on the face, unless you got a magnifying glass out). The tone of this bronzer really is fantastic for my cool fair skin and I find it is perfectly pigmented. It is not so pigmented that I easily apply too much (I'm fair so this isn't hard), but, not lacking pigment to the degree that it needs a lot of building up. I find it wears well lasting throughout the day without wearing off or becoming patchy

The texture is smooth and silky and not at all powder which makes it look super natural on the skin and easy to evenly apply and blend into the skin. Nars is a high end brand so the price is a little steep, but, it is a fail proof gorgeous product that I will repurchase because I think it is worth it.

I was sad when my bronzer was deleted.... but my sorrow was short lived. In walked Nars and my life was never the same.

You need a bronzer. No really you do. Contouring is your friend, sun kissed without the damage, yummy tones and people asking you what you are doing to look so good. Seriously.

If you are a fan of the blusher Nars Orgasm this is it's bronzer sister. They pair up together beautifully. Or are perfect alone by themselves.

Nars has great casing. Simple, black and has a great mirror (great for those on the go).

The reason I like this bronzer is that it has a gradual build up. I am very pale (like a ghost) so I am always worried if a bronzer is too dark. But this has a gorgeous brown shimmer that applys wonderfully and blends with your natural colour. So if you want it to be darker you just add more.

It wears well - usually I apply before I go to work and then I might add a bit more if I am heading out after (I prefer my bronzer slightly darker for night wear)

I know this has a bigger price tag but it really is worth the $$ and it lasts a long time. I mean I get great wear out of mine and I use this everyday. I will even sometimes only use bronzer and mascara (if I do not want a make up day) just to give my face a little colour. I can not recommend this enough.

I was recommended this bronzer and told it had a very slight shimmer that was unnoticeable on skin. I would still describe the shimmer as slight, but unfortunately it is noticeable on skin. I had intended to use this as a contour colour, but it's shimmer has meant i will keep it for regular bronzing instead. The texture and pigmentation of Laguna is great, and it also comes with a mirror which is nice for travel or on the go application.

this product is my ultimate holy grail bronzer ever, i will never go back to using any other one, i have had my laguna for about 10 months and i have only just hit pan! lasts a very long time! the color is gorgeous i contour with it every day , you can do a more defined contour or a more natural one, it is very build-able and it doesn't look orange, cakey or muddy at all! its also very easy to blend out :) would recommend 100% worth the price

I'm quite pale, and I don't like to bronze up my skin much, but this bronzer is the PERFECT bronzer for contouring ever!

When I first saw it I thought it was going to be too dark on me but a little bit on my contour brush and wow it made my skin look so defined! I love how it's green-based so it counters out my redness in my face making it look more balanced. I also like how it's not completely matte as matte powders seem to make me look flat and lifeless.

I love how it's buildable too if you wanted to build up the contour from daytime to nighttime.

I waited until I was overseas before purchasing the Laguna bronzer because I thought I wold be disappointed and did not want to pay NZ price. I'm so glad I bought it! It completely lives up to the hype and I don't think I will be able to go back to my old favourite MAC bronzer. Its perfect for my slightly lighter skin tone as its not too dark and not orange at all. My pet hate is having orange bronzer.

It is a creamy brown colour, matte and velvety. Super easy powder to apply, I use it to contour my cheeks and it blends perfectly.

I'd recommend using a nice, fluffy brush as I found my firmer brushes would lift excess powder and leave it loose in the pan. Use a light brush and build up colour.

I recently gave in and purchased this bronzer online from Mecca (ouch expensive) but I can tell you that at $72 (not sure where it retails at $57) it was worth every cent!!

Absolutely no regrets! The bronzer be beautiful and silky it the tiniest hint of shimmer which prevents it from turning 'muddy' on your skin.

I wish I had given in earlier because I don't think I will ever use another bronzer again! Total Holy Grail Cult beauty product.

I absolutely adore the simple classic NARS packaging - although it can tend to get a bit filthy so I clean mine regularly (just call me Monica).

If you don't own this bronzer and would like too but are putting it off due to the price I say go for it. honestly you definitely wont regret it!

I purchased this bronzer not so long ago after trying it on in store. I live quiet a distance away from mecca cosmetica, which is where i purchased it from, and on the drive home I couldn't stop looking at how gorgeous it looked......I was hooked.

I have a round face and this is perfect for adding shape and dimension. After I put it on my whole face shape changes. Im rather fair skinned and I thought when I first looked at it that it would be too dark for my skin but Its perfect for me, very blend-able and is very build-able. I have used this as a quick colour on my eye and it too looks amazing.

If you purchase this you will have no regrets! The only regret would be that you didn't purchase it sooner!

Not muddy, gives perfect bronzed look and it my go to bronzer! Love how big the compact is, little pricey if buying in NZ instead of online but definitely worth it!

The Nars Laguna Bronzer is a holy grail in the online beauty community, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to purchase. What really sold me was the constant promises of it suiting fair complexions without looking orange. On a work trip to Wellington I popped into Mecca and was helped by a lovely sales assistant. It is a high end brand, with a price tag to match, although it could be purchased cheaper online (e.g: Nordstrom.com). The packaging is, well, Nars. Black with NARS written in white. It is sturdy and sleek which makes it great for travel and it clicks open and closed easily, but not too easily. It also contains a mirror the size of the packaging. The packaging is great, although it does get grubby easily and if I purchased further Nars bronzers they would look the same.

The bronzer is matte with tiny gold flecks that aren't noticeable on the skin. It is pigmented, reasonably easy to blend and refuses to go orange, even when I am not fake tanned. It isn't powdery in the slightest which is great as this ensures even coverage on the brush and no wastage or mess. I use this as both a contour and an all over bronzer.

I used the Nars Laguna Bronzer the first night that I purchased it and the difference between the Nars Laguna Bronzer, and my previous Clarins bronzer, was astounding. It made a significant difference to my overall look, was clean and fresh looking and gave me some killer cheekbones. It has been 3 months since my purchase, and I haven't even glanced at any other bronzers. I will continue to use Nars Laguna for a long, long time.
