I am a huge fan of both Etude House and Minnie Mouse, so when they decide to do a collaboration, I was so SO excited! Of course ~ I bought almost everything from the Etude House xoxo Minnie Mouse collection.
Till this day, I still love everything from this collection, but sadly I had to give this highlighter away.
While the packaging is super adorable! and the product itself is amazing! The quality of the powder is, not so great.
I have had the highlighter for a little more than six months, I use it maybe once or twice a week and I have never drop it or done anything to damage it.
After just six months, the powder starts to crack, minnie mouse' face ruined and one day it just fully smashed. I tried to fix it, but it's just not the same any more. So I had to give it away.
Anyway, this highlighter is made with a pearl-ish white and a lavender color, which gives the perfect highlighting effect on the cheek, it's not so shiny that turn your face into a disco ball and it's suitable for everyday wear.
This highlighter is just average. I've used better and I've used worse. It has a nice white glow but the pigmentation isn't good at all, and when applied it can look cakey when too much is put on. I found that small amounts under the brow bone or on the tip of the nose were the best places for this highlighter. The highlighter itself cracked rather quickly after purchase and there was always so much fallout that sparkles went everywhere every time I used it.
