I don't understand this whole 6 in 1 professional powder stuff. It's a bronzing powder with some coverage - nothing fancy.

I got sucked in by the ad on Tv. I mean how hard can it be simply brush on the powder and ta dah you have a perfect easy to use make up, Yeah No. No matter how gentle I applied this powder I looked orange. I have a light complexion and this always left my face looking orange. The lip balm included in the pack is the worst, sticky, smelly and impossible to remove once on. I am so not a fan. The best part of the set was the double eye pencil, one end brown and one end black, I love the brown for my brows.
As hard as i tried i just could not get this to work for me, I bought the light shade and it was far too orange for me i have a light to medium skin tone and warm undertone. I tried using less product and a lighter hand. I would not buy this ever again
Tips: Test instore first if possible
This when I was a teenager was everything if you didn't own it you didn't know what makeup was.. Oh my goodness not realising how to use it so in other words using it as a powder foundation not a great idea.. I did try it again recently as my grandmother owns it even now I have a clue I don't like it's far far to warm for my skin for reference I am quite fair but undertones quite neutral
Tips: Apply very very sparingly
Thin lizzy 6 in 1 isn't exactly as easy to use as suggested but i use mine for contour and it works well but a a bronzer its abit too dark even in the light shade
Tips: Apply lightly and use a really fluffy brush but for contour i use an angeled brush
But not the worst I found it a bit too orange and sparkles for but I would recommend to anyone who doesn't have time for make up. The brush it comes with is good for beginners and it can be used as eyeshadow but I think it would work best for tanned skin more than my fair complexion
I tired this as a kind of 'why not' thing, and quite frankly there is nothing special about it. The powder it self has quite a nice texture and is quite smooth. However it is quite sparkly and is actually too dark for me. I got it in summer and it was fine but as I got lighter in winter it got orange. So even as a bronzer it couldn't use it. However I bought it in the tin pact and I love the brush and eye liner it comes with!
I had this a long time ago and hated it even then when I was a beginner in make up, for one I did have the wrong shade and turned me orange! Even as a contour it was too orange based to look anywhere near natural!
I found if I put a light dusting it was fine but because it was so light I may as well have nothing on, I found it to be drying and cakey as well if you tried to get coverage.
Tips: Only thing I would use it for is eyeshadow
I remember thin lizzy from about 10years ago! My mum always had it in her makeup bag and I always used to look good for school lol. It comes in a really cute tin case and theres 2 of each product including powder, eyeliner, brushes and lipgloss. Its a great price too at only $50 it'll last you a good while.
Now to break it down and talk about each product... The powder comes in 2 shades, light or dark. I did find that it wasn't really great coverage for my normal to dry skin so I always end up buying the dark one just to use as a contour which works really great! I guess if you bought the thin lizzy concealer then the powder would work better.
The brushes these days I kind of don't like. I feel like they are too soft and dont really help with application so I just use one from an old pack.
The eyeliner use to be crap but they have upped their game lately so Im really liking it at the moment its nice and creamy and applies well to the eye and its half black and half brown also with a sharpener which is a pretty amazing.
The lipgloss.. well this lipgloss has been the same for years. Its a cute tube of clear gloss but its so thick and sticky and just overall annoying to use! I thought they would have changed something about this.
Lastly it comes with a mini cd which us I guess a tutorial and demo about thin lizzy. I will definitely keep buying this as I think its a great product to have in the kit as you never know when you may need it and it lasts ages!
I use it as a bronzing powder, easy to use giving the face some colour lasts a long time so not sure why you get 2 of everything, why not reduce the price and sell more that way.
