Good bronzer and/or contour if thats what your looking for, but all over? Haha that would look ridiculus on any skin tone! So it obviously doesnt do what it claims, in saying that it is quite good quality for the price. I like the eyeliner that comes with it and the brush too, use them both daily. The lip gloss smells nices but feels quite sticky when you wear it.

Tips: Use the 6 in 1 sparingly and lightly, dont over do it.
I'm a fan of the Concealer, But the 6 in 1 is a whole different story. Felt so orange and gross after using it so now I use it to contour..
This is a product that is sold to many women with high expectations... sadly for me it didn't deliver. I had tried it in a demonstration and thought it looked lovely... made my purchase and went home; what happened when I left the store? well you might say that in the cold light of day, rather than incandescent lighting, my face looked like an oompa loompa! Colour me un-impressed. I tried a few times at home with out being heavy handed but it just didn't work for me at all. My sister inlaw had better luck with it so she took it off my hands. the texture was another thing I didn't like about it... it made my face itch, and it was very drying for me as well.
Tips: Try it in-store then walk outside and check it a few times to be sure
They claim that it can be a all over face powder bronzer eyeshadow lip colour etc. I have to disagree... You put this all over your face you'll look like an oompa loompa. It'd be a great product for a bronzer but that's about it and $40 for what I consider a drugstore "bronzer" is too expensive. Sure you get an eyeliner and a lipgloss but those aren't too great either
Tips: Buy only for bronzing
My mum bought this set for me and my sister a while back. It came with a lip gloss, eye liner, a brush and of course the powder. It all came in this super cute tin. Too bad the tin was the best thing about this set!! I have naturally dark skin and even this powder was way to dark for my skin. It completely caked my face even though i used minimal product. It has a bit of shimmer in the powder itself which I found strange. I tried to contour with it and even this made me look funny due to the massive colour contrast between my skin and the product!! The brush isn't the softest either but I guess if the product was good I would have used some other brush from my collection to apply the powder. The lip gloss was insanely sticky and far to weird feeling on my lips. The scent of it was fine but doesn't make up for the uncomfortable feeling on my lips!! The eye liner pencil has little to no colour pay off.. You have to apply it with so much pressure to get even the lightest line.. This set is definitely a waste of money I reckon. I was excited about the claims the adverts for this product was making because i find it hard to find a foundation to perfectly match my dark complexion.. They claim that the product is great as a foundation for darker skin.. It most definitely did not work for my skin :(
Tips: Do try it before you buy it. This is now in most pharmacies and Farmers I think. Don't buy it straight of the television adverts!! :)
I caved and bought this product out of curiosity more more than anything. When I was younger I used the Thin lizzy mineral foundation which was good for my skin at the time. Since it looks an odd muddy/dirty shade on my skin, I haven't really used it much and handed it on one my teen daughter. It does have good pigment though. And for this reason it will take a while use it up. The good pigment is also the reason to use it sparingly. That is the key to to getting a good result. My intention was to use use this as a bronzer/contour. It was always going to be to dark for me as an all over face product. Even in the pale shade. If you have the the right skin tone I can see how how this could work. It isn't a bad product. But in my opinion there are better bronzing/contouring products out there.
Tips: Go lightly. A little goes a long way
I am a HUGE fan of Thin Lizzy Mineral Foundation and Thin Lizzy Concealer Creme... you can find both of them in a shade that perfectly matches you skin tone. But the 6 in 1 light is so dark - I think the only thing I can really use it for is to turn myself into an ugly orange pumpkin for Halloween - which I don't even celebrate.
I regularly use Thin Lizzy and have for some time but I'm still not sure it does anything. The adverts show a change in skintone but I feel that I would have to cake my neck and face in it to achieve the same look. I will continue to use it until it runs out but I am not sure I will run out to replace it.
i love the 6 in 1 powder, it blends in nicely, and i would definately recommend it. i however do not like the lip gloss, its way too sticky. the eye pencil i didnt like either as the colour wouldn't apply easy enough.
Once upon a time, I bought this thinking piece of cake, I can use this like a pro. Wrong first few times I went a little orange, ok more than a little on my pale face. So I put this to the side in my makeup collection and left it. Then I started temping in a relaxed call centre and needed a not really made up look. I started with BB cream to hide faults followed by mineral foundation then I use the thin lizzy powder on cheeks and eyes, blending lots with the brush. Then without adding any more powder to the brush, I run it over my face to spread the sparkle lightly. This seems to do the job for me. The eyeliner doesn't seem to last all day for me but it annoys my eyes a little on occasion so I don't wear it that much. I do wear contacts, so that doesn't help matters. The lip gloss is sticky but no worse than some of the others in the market. I have used the lip gloss for a moisturiser spot treatment if I think that some skin is looking a little dry and I can't be bothered getting my normal stuff, it seems to work ok and you only need a little bit. Would I buy this again? probably not as by the time I am finished both compacts that came in the kit I probably should have thrown out the second one for being too old. There are other products that suit my skin colouring a little better than this one.
Tips: Little goes a long way.
