I’ve tried so many liquid eyeliners recently as I’ve been trying to find one that matches my favourite Stila one as I’m sick of paying so much for it. Over the past week I’ve literally tried 2 new ones and this one is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have quite watery eyes and struggle with my liner running. This liner goes on easily and looks exactly the same at the end of the day as it did when I’d applied it. I even had a sleep today and it hasn’t budged. It delivered enough colour so I wasn’t having to keep applying more as I’ve found is what normally ruins the look. This is definitely my new favourite eyeliner and I can’t recommend it enough, especially to people that struggle with application as it doesn’t bleed, transfer and it’s incredibly easy to apply.

This has been my go-to liquid eyeliner for years. It goes on smoothly, the tip is spongy and easy to use, and it lasts all day without smudging.
This eyeliner works well for wings, it has a flexible tip rather than a hard one so it makes it a lot easier to apply as it flexes with the curves of the eye. Once it dries it does not smudge at all and lasts all day. The tip of the pen is very small so easy to get a very precise line and my eyeliner always looks very clean when using this product. I wasn't in love with the shape of the pen but doesn't matter too much as you never hold an eyeliner for too long that it would be painful or anything for the hand.
Tips: Micellar water works great for removing this product.
I got this as I find pencil liner difficult, it works, but smudges quite easy and doesn't last all day overall its an ok product, as the feel of it is nice and easy to put on
It’s really nice and lasts long. It is a bit messy if it gets in your eyes. I had one and my niece used it I suppose she liked it haha. I would buy again.
Does not budge once dry. Nice black finish. Precise line and point achievable with brush tip. Pen applicator makes for easy use.
It was unfortunate that when I first tried this, the liner had exploded in its packaging leaving a black sticky mess everywhere! However I did get a replacement and can vouch that this liner works (when it’s not exploding in packaging). I wear liquid eyeliner most days because it’s quick, long lasting and easy to use. This maybelline offering definitely ticks these boxes. The hexagonal shape of the pen means you get a steady grip when drawing on your wing liner and it dries quickly to a smudge free finish. Packaging issues aside, this is one for those that want their makeup to stay in place all day and like a Flexi brush tip as opposed to a stiff felt tip liner.
Tips: Soak cotton buds in micelles water and have them on standby when doing a wing liner. I find that I can do a terrible job at drawing the liner on but still end up with perfect winged liner just by wiping away the excess!
Not one to use liquid eyeliner normally as I don't like the harsh look of liquid but I must say this one was A-Ok! The packaging is nice and easy to open, even with long nails - the hexagonal shape felt a bit weird at first and I found the lid quite hard to get off, especially after having just used moisturizer. The flexi tip was good for getting a fine wing. I did find that with older eyes that have a bit of crepiness to them it was a little hard to get a smooth line. I found that I would do the wing part only and then used a pencil to fill in the rest. It certainly lasted the distance though and didn't smudge. A great product if you want an eyeliner that isn't going to go anywhere.
I have been using this for nearly 2wks thanks to the trial team and wow! I've never found a liquid eyeliner that for me is easy to apply as I can be kack-handed at times doing my makeup.
It was so easy to get the perfect cat eye look among others using the hyper easy, which could be due to the fact its hexagonal shape so I wasn't struggling to hold it. As normally one eye looks great and the other is a disaster, but not now.
It was so easy to apply evenly and did what it said about lasting 24hrs, I just washed my face with micellar water to remove it after work.
I'll definitely be getting it again as its made my life easier as I don't feel so awkward trying to apply it.
Tips: I'd recommend using micellar water if you do make a boo boo to remove it.
Recently I have been practising on Upskilling my eyeliner technique. Im not a huge fan of pencil eyeliners as I like more precise lines and edges.
I recently purchased this product and have to say it might just be my new favourite. I found that it lasts me the whole day and the colour doesn't fade or run. It is pretty easy to apply and the flexible tip makes it great for wings.
I also think it is reasonably affordable (I think I bought it for $20 at the chemist warehouse) and works well up there with some more expensive brands that I have tried in the past
Tips: If you are a beginner I recommend the gel liner formulation as it is more convenient because it glides on without tugging, and creates smooth lines with different thicknesses. When you feel comfortable definitely buy the Maybelline hyper easy liquid eyeliner. My only tip is to be careful putting the lid on so the Tip doesn't break away or fray.
