Almay

This came out of the tube white and transformed when applied and warmed with my skin. They have changed the packaging of this product but the tube is still the same its like a liquid foundation / bb cream that changes colour I am pale so I needed the lightest shade I got this cheaper than the above price it is not a bad product is is not drying and had a medium to light coverage and sunscreen in side the formulation is a liquid but it is not too thin you can try build up the coverage after a while I decided this product did not sit as well on my skin as some too and was a little greasy but other than that it is okay I would not re purchase at full price though it is not bad a bit like a bb cream

Skintone Matching

I tired this in light/medium. Because I wear fake tanner in summer and not in winter, my hope was that with this product I would be able to get foundation for both skintones out of one product.

I can't comment for without fake tanner, because I ran out of product before I went back to tanner-less skin, but with the fake tanner it did match my skin tone perfectly.

To apply, it goes on white with little dark dots in it. Then as it touches the skin it changes colour a little bit and changes more as you mix it in.

The squeeze bottle it came in didn't feel as easy as a pump to use, but I liked the product as it was unique and vesatile. I also found the product stayed on reasonably well.

Light/Medium

I bought this foundation out of pure frustration! I'd been hunting for the perfect foundation shade for a while and was really battling to find one to match my skin perfectly, when I saw this. I'd reached a point where I'd tried almost every light to medium shade in every brand available and had still not found a foundation that "disappeared" on my skin tone. I was ready to walk out the store and go foundation-free for the first time in almost 12 years!

I grabbed the tester tube in "light/medium" (#200) and hoped that it would be close enough. I tested a small patch on my jaw and it was perfect! After days of stalking through the beauty department at various stores, my foundation hunt was finally over.

The foundation is packaged in an opaque plastic tube and the first time I squeezed a little out, I didn't expect to see a whitish-grey liquid with light and dark brown beads. The liquid changes colour from whitish-grey to flesh-coloured as soon as you begin blending it into your skin and after a little trial and error, I found that it worked best when "mixed" or blended on the back of my hand first, so that all the little beads were mixed in properly before I applied it to my face. By mixing it on the back of my hand it also meant that I could use a brush or a sponge to apply the foundation, instead of my fingers, and there were no sudden streaks of excessively light or dark coloured foundation when a particularly stubborn bead refused to "pop" only to suddenly smear across a perfectly applied cheek or create a tiger stripe across my forehead!

The coverage is light to medium and this all depends on how its applied. For light coverage, use your fingers. For medium coverage, use a brush or beauty blender and build up the coverage after mixing the liquid on the back of your hand.

This foundation contains an SPF15, which is great in summer, but it did feel a little greasy on my naturally oily skin so I won't be purchasing another tube. However, I did recommend this to a friend with dry skin and she loved it!

Tips: Mix it on the back of your hand and build up the coverage with a foundation brush.
