When I first purchased this product, I found it really greasy. However, since going on a low dose course of Oratane, this has been AMAZING! Its just what I need everyday, to apply quickly in the morning so that I look like I've made an effort. It does give a bit of a dewy finish, but I'm learning to like that look more and more, as for so many years I was all about looking matte. Blends beautifully with fingers, wears well, and has added benefit of SPF. As far as the skin benefits go, I do think that I adds to the skin radiance. Will continue to buy, as a pea sized amount goes a long way.

Tips: Also mixes really well with Estee Lauder double wear foundation, if you want coverage that is between the two.
Hydrating, light to meduim cover - buildable without being heavy. Dewy finish, hydrating on the skin and am impressed with the wearability - long wearing. I am fair with a rosey undertone and purchased the shade Vanilla - I would shade up in Summer
Tips: I have added a pump of concealer for nightwear for a more full coverage, glam look
I have found this to be an amazing everyday foundation. it is sheer but evens the skin tone beautifully, making the skin look unbelievably radiant and healthy. Only issue I've had is piling but not a problem with proper skin prep
This is my go to. I love that it's simple and easy to apply, it doesn't take me long in the morning which is perfect! It's got spf in it as well - win! There is no overbearing smell which is great! Can be built up a little bit as well!
Tips: I always set with powder :)
Nice and light on the face. Isn't heavy and sits on the face nicely. Would definitely buy again as it lasts all day and wears well.
Tips: I would recommend using a powder on top to help set it
I love this product on my dry skin! It looks so good and natural (so perfect for no makeup makeup days) with the added SPF it is perfect. When I wear it, it lasts all day on my skin. One of my favourite foundation products.
Tips: I would still recommend setting it to make it last longer
I purchased this from Mecca in the Vanilla colour. I have pretty normal skin, no real dry patches and no real oily patches but I just could not get this on to my skin without it separating. I tried no moisturiser, moisturiser, primer and it separated no matter what I did and it did it immediately. The colour was lovely. I could not put makeup over the top of it. I tried finishing powder - still no good. I spoke to the lovely ladies at Mecca about it and they did say that some other people had the same issue and they were not sure if it was a batch or something else. Based on my experience I would not repurchase and could not recommend. I do use Bare Minerals loose foundation powder and I love that.
I have mature, combination skin which is quite sensitive but I find this doesn't give me any aggravation. I love that it has a great sunscreen so I can apply straight over my morning skincare without additional sunblock. It blends beautifully, I just use my fingers to rub it in, and gives a surprisingly good coverage for such a light texture. It sets with a radiant look but very skin like and doesn't look like you have makeup on. It does wear quite well but for a long day I would add a primer and/or bare minerals powder.
Tips: This product is better worked into the skin rather than painted over the top, the worse result I had was with a foundation brush which left streaks.
I originally bought this because I wanted a less heavy foundation type product to wear when I’m fake tanned, as I tend to wear less makeup when I’m tan. I have dry/combination skin with some blemishes. I have a real love hate relationship with this product, because when I can get it to work for me I love it, but the keyword there is WHEN. I find this applies best when I have quite a heavy/rich moisturiser on underneath. When I use it this way, it gives the perfect light coverage that looks even and very glowy - I love how healthy it makes my skin look while letting some of my natural complexion show through. However if I don’t lay the perfect base down first or just apply it directly onto cleansed skin - it looks awful. It clings badly to drier patches on my face, the colour looks patchy and it doesn’t sink into my skin the way it should. I’ve tried applying with my fingers, beauty blenders, all kinds of brushes and when it doesn’t work it looks really awful. I’m still trying with this product and hoping to find the perfect combo for it. It would have been great if they brought out a primer/base to pair specifically with this gel, but at the same time I think for the price you really shouldn’t need any extra products for it to look nice.
Tips: If you have even slightly drier skin, layer on a thick primer or moisturiser beforehand!
I liked this product initially, it gave me a good light-medium coverage and a really nice shade match. The texture is lovely and super easy to work with. However I found that most of the time I tried to use this I would end up with pilling, which was very frustrating. I tried different moisturisers and methods underneath but kept having the same problem. When I would wear it out, I would find after a few hours it looked patchy and had sunk into creases and rubbed off in other areas. In the end, I didn’t end up finishing the bottle as I found a better alternative for me. Seems to work well for others, but just not for me!
