Super drying and uncomfortable to wear. Flaking usually and it's ot the type of lip stick you want to reapply at all.

Not the greatest lipstick. Doesn't last very long and is very drying on the lips. I use it only sometimes.
Tips: Use vaseline on lips before sleeping.
I bought one and really liked it so stocked up on other colours as they were on special. However after a couple of weeks of using it nearly daily, I noticed my lips had dried out a lot and i needed to scrub lip moisturise. It looked nice for the first aouple of hours then you need to reapply and it gets a bit thick, cakey and dry, I wont be buying again.
I have two of these in different shades, a berry and a brown, both are shimmery which I like. Firstly I always line and fill my lips before using a lipstick and I have great success with this as it really helps to lock the colour in.
You have the colour on one end and the glossy balm on the other. I make sure the colour is dry before applying the balm. This lasts really well for me and all I need to do is apply more balm after I've eaten and I'm good to go. I wouldn't say it lasts 24 hours but then who wears lipstick that long anyway. I wish the balm was a bit longer.
Tips: Lip liner is the trick with this for lasting colour.
Sorry it's not lasted any more that two hour and crust forms on outer of lips and if you apply more its frys and feels terrible Did not last on me at all and colour was nice but also did not give full cover Really sorry its not something l would buy again
I brought quite a bit of maybelline product after?? Before?? Xmas.. I can’t remember now but recently anyways and this was one of the products I liked the look and sound of.
I was impressed by their matte stay inks so had high hopes for this but it didn’t live up to my full expectations. It’s only an ok.
Applies nicely and sets ok. It’s colour at one end and gloss at other end. I quite like the idea as the other inks I’ve used but maybelline can be quite drying so something to add moisture is a nice touch and stops sticking.
There’s some nice colours but I didn’t actually realise it had sparkles when I purchased and I must admit I don’t often wear sparkly things on my lips so I feel I dont suit this. But if you love sparkles give this a go.
You apply colour let dry and then apply the clear coating so does take a bit of time as can be hard to tell when fully dry as it’s a slightly sticky formula.
It wears ok mine stayed on for a few hours but definitely not 24hr it looked ok but was wearing down fast in the inner lip and needed reapplication so. It did last a while though on the outer lip and needed removal with a babywipe but I was worried about my appearance with the inner lip wearing away so I don’t know if I will be racing back to use this. Others might have better luck.
The lipstick on the inner side of my lips wore away pretty quickly which meant re-applying ever 1-2 hours. The rest of the lipstick wore well but began to crack on the outer corners after a few hours of wear. Will transfer and rub off if eating/drinking. Also stained the skin around my lips when I accidentally over drew my lips which took a lot of harsh scrubbing to remove.
Tips: If you are a singer I do not recommend this product as you'll have to re-apply the product constantly around your inner lips.
I purchased a red coloured lipstick and it certainly lived up to it's name. It applied nicely, came with a brush to apply and was a liquid consistency. On the other end was another brush and a clear liquid, almost like a lip balm or top coat but i always used this side first to moisturise my lips before applying the colour. When using a make up wipe to remove it had stained my lips red, but wasn't overly noticeable. I definitely will use it again when i want my lipstick to last all night.
I tried this few years ago before better long lasting lipsticks came out. There were few different shades and I chose a red one. So one side was the shade and the other side was the top coat to make it long lasting.
The colour glided on nicely, but it was wasn't very moisturising. Then I applied the top coat, that didn't dry very well and my lips get sticking together. It was the worst feeling and I never tried it again after that. I recall throwing it out.
There are so many better lipsticks out there now, I definitely won't be using this again.
Tips: Exfoliate lips before using.
I like using this and keep it as a go to in my purse however I do agree the packaging is too long making it difficult to store and carry. It always makes my makeup purse sit funny. What I like about it is that you can brighten up your look relatively easily for many hours to come. I used a browny pink colour close ro natural and enjoyed the look but if you don’t get it on right the first time you are constantly battling an uphill lip wiping/reapply battle and yes. It dries your lips out. Balm is so lush tho - what a pity it runs out halfway before the colour. I enjoyed the wand applicator it feels nice but top lip is always hard
Tips: Shorter product with twice the balm and a slightly more dilute colour - gold or glossy letters that aren’t easily rubbed off to prevent people using it back wards for ages as I was - maybe that’s why the balm didn’t last :)
