This transparent base and top coat is fast drying and protects the nail. When used as a base coat, it's the ideal base for subsequent application of you coloured lacquer. It protects the nail from discoloration and facilitates application. Used as a top coat, it seals in your nail lacquer, preventing chipping and improving colour brilliance. Apply as desired (as a base coat, top coat, or alone) from the root to the tip of the nail. Repeat if necessary

I really like it but its expensive than other coats. It does give a really nice shine over your nail polish colour and its easy to apply and doesn't dry out afteraages. I've had it for a little while and its nearly finished because I use it all the time on top of my nails to make them shine. I don't know if it actually protects the nails because I haven't used it a lot as just a coat over my nails. Always used it over nail polish I think but over the nails it gives a shine and lasts a week or two. It dries quickly than regular nail polish but if you put on layers without it drying properly then it takes a while anf it a bit attached off it looks bad but otherwise its a great product and works as it says. You can get other coat finishes that work the same that are cheaper from your pharmacy or local stores. They work similar but this would last longer.
