e.l.f Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

I was given this product which was lovely,

The highlighter to begin.....hmm not quite sure what we are going to highlight with that, it clumpy and i find it doesnt blend and a bit too glittery!!

The concealer.... i actually dont mind it for an inexpensive product i found it done the job pretty good, it blends out very easily and nicely dries reasonably quick.

I received this as a freebie gotta love getting free stuff. But I'm glad I didn't pay for it...

This double ended tube has the under eye concealer at one end and the highlighter at the other.

The under eye concealer isn't great it's quite thick and it settles in my fine lines. It does make my dark under eye circles less noticeable but i would rather have darker circles than cakey lines.

The highlighter is just a complete waste of time I don't get it. It too is quite a thick white paste with lots of glitter in it. And I don't mean a shimmer or something delicate I mean full on chunky glitter it's completely in wearable. Unless you may like to look like a disco ball? I won't repurchase this as I have better under eye concealers and highlighters I wouldn't even recommend this to try if you have never used either of them before and wanted to try. While this is a very blendable concealer it cakes and sets into the fine lines under my eyes every single time no matter what I do! I prime my undereyes, use my foundation, put an undereye moisturiser on, use the concealer then immediately set it but it still cakes!

It doesn't really cover the dark circles either - you'd probably need to use a tone correcting concealer before this one to effectively cover them up.

The highlighter has literal specks of glitter in it so I never use it. It is a nice colour though so that's a bummer. I don't know what E.L.F's obsession with glitter is but they always ruin products with it (probably something to do with how cheap it is).

I wouldn't purchase it again and I've pretty much stopped using my one.

I love the concealer in this product, however the highlighter doesn't do what most highlighters should do. The concealer provides great coverage (I apply it underneath my eyes to brighten that area) but the highlighter is quite a milky texture and doesn't 'highlight' your face. I suppose I use the concealer more of a highlighter, to brighten under my eyes and around my nose etc.

I was looking for a good under eye concealer to hide my dark circles and picked this one up for very cheap. It has turned out to be one of my favorite drugstore under eye concealers! It goes on so smoothly and blends well. It covers my dark circles but at the same time looks nice and natural. :D I use it all the time and might purchase it again after this one runs out! However the other side- the highlighter. Is just odd. I have tried it multiple time and it seems it just makes my eyebags stand out more! I think it actually make me look more tired! So overall i really loved the concealer but hated the highlighter. I really wish i could just buy the concealer by itself!! That would be extremely handy!!

I like the concealer for my under-eye area - it glides on especially well with a good primer or eye cream underneath! It lasts well when I lightly powder over the top (other it creases and it is also quite shiny before powdering).

I swipe the applicator under my eyes and pat it out with my finger - it has a creamy texture and covers my under-circles without looking cakey. The colour is also perfect for my skin tone.

I never use the highlighter anymore as I do not like the formula or the finish that it gives. I have used it on the top of my cheek bones and patted it out with my finger, and another time with a beauty blender, but I found it really hard to blend out as it is quite a thick formula and an odd colour - a milky white colour as a highlight does not compliment my skin..

It's a shame that the highlighter doesn't work for me as I love the packaging and I love the concealer. But for the price, I will purchase it again regardless! :)

As a sufferer of dark under eye circles I was hoping for a miracle with this product; however I was left disappointed. First off, the concealer is alright- I found it gave a fairly sheer coverage that was buildable, but it didn't cover my under eye darkness well. The highlighter is a nice eyeshadow primer but I barely use it. Overall its an alright product but I would not recommend it to those with quite severe under eye darkness.

I bought this mainly for the concealer with the highlight being bonus. For me this isnt much more than an extra foundation layer. When I think of co cealer designed for under eyes I want it to conceal my bags and this elf just doesnt do that for me. The colour I got in fair is a good match. I like the compact design and how easy it is to use with the wands. The highlighter isnt much to brag about but it does add a slight sparkle so I pair it with a more opaque highlighter. Overall, I fi d this better as an eye primer than a concealer but ill still use it :) for the price you cant expect perfection
