I recieved one of these from a friend in the shade bombshell with is an amazing bright beautiful pink. The applicator for this is a flat slanted plastic tip with a hole in the middle to distribute the product. I could not apply this product straight from the packaging. It is way too slippery and you get absolutely no control over where it's going and ends up. So then I got a lip brush (any excuse right?) and couple apply it far better. As for the product it's fun and bright but the hassle in getting it on by having to mess around with a lip brush instead of applying it straight from the packaging means I hardly ever use it. The colour is nice and while it's not the most long lasting it's certainly not the worst it's not one of my fave products.

Tips: Apply with a lip brush so you don't end up getting it everywhere like I did!
I bought the lip paint in the color Bombshell. It's a very bright pink berry color and I adore it.I was afraid that the consistency would be very sticky and "greasy" in appearance, but it actually dries to a nice lacquered finish. My only complaint is the actual applicator of the packaging. I think it would make applying the product a lot easier if they made it similar to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks, where they have like a spongy tip.
Will be looking into purchasing a few more from this collection.
These were the new craze, highly pigmented color by the squeeze of the tube, I had seen these on instagram and bragged about on youtube and I decided to dive in and buy 5. I used Beauty joint as they sell them for around $4.50 each, 2 weeks later they arrived on my door step.
I really adore the packaging of these, they look like modernized lip gloss with the outside color matching what was inside the tubing.
The ones I purchased were: Elude- Soft peach nude, Whimsical- Light lavender pink, Peony- Coral pastel, Bombshell- Bright pink, Coy- Bold purple, Tempt- Dark berry.
They are very easy to apply to your lips and its better to apply a small amount at a time. The formula is really thin so I apply some then I let it sit for a few seconds before adding more. I found applying these to the edges of my lips hard so I use a small brush to carefully outline the outside of my lips with these.
They are very pigmented but very glossy lipsticks, they don't leave a sticky feeling to your lips and they will stay on your lips for around an hour before leaving a light tint on your lips. I like the smell of the formula which smells of peppermint and they leave a slight tingly sensation on your lips after you've just applied these.
I use all of these on a regular basis except for Tempt which I find comes off patchy when I apply this and if I apply too much it slides all over my lips and bleeds.
I highly recommend the lighter range, these are inexpensive and handy to keep in your handbag if your wanting a spruce of color.
Tips: You can buy these for about $4-$4.50 on Beautyjoint.com
These are super opaque lip paints. They have a smooth consistency like a gloss but the pigmentation is out of this world! They're super smooth on the lips and are really comfortable to wear. I personally don't like the minty feel and smell though. It's like medicine and makes me hesitant to use it over my other products.
Tips: Only use a small amount or it'll go everywhere!
I have heard so much about these lip paints so when I finally found them I had to buy them. I got them in 4 colours: Babydoll, Bombshell, Blushing and Coy.These lip paints are very pigmented and require about 2 coats to get the full effect. Babydoll is a light pink, bombshell is a barbie pink, blushing is a mauve (and my favourite) and coy is a light/medium purple. All these colours are extremely bright, so if you're not into super bright colours, this is not for you. The only colour I get the most use out of is Blushing just because it is the most wearable as it is not as bright as the rest. When applying them they feel very slippery and I am always terrified its going to end up all over my mouth! They also just sit on the surface of your lips therefore they dont last very long. It does give a cooling sensation to the lips because of the peppermint. All in all, they are quite decent lip paints however I wish they were just slightly less bright and had more staying power.
Tips: To get them to stay on your lips longer, use a lip pencil underneath:)
I had seen the LA Girl glazed lip paints raved about on YouTube as a great dupe for the much pricier Two Faced melted lipsticks. I have never tried the Two Faced product, so unfortunately I am unable to make a genuine comparison.
I love the LA Girl glazed lip paints - they have super vibrant colour and great pigmentation! I own the colours 'pin-up' a cherry red, with a very slight pinkish berry tone, and 'babydoll' a bright 'Barbie' pink. I find that these lip products are almost always sold out at my local retailer which is frustrating and the reason I only own two shades. I will be buying more as soon as see them.
I like to wear them over the top of lipsticks, or on their own. The consistency is moderately thin liquid. They're much easier to apply with a lip brush, but can be applied with the doe-foot applicator if you're on the run. I love the way 'pin-up' looks over a bright pink lipstick. The lipstick gives it a more pink berry tone, rather than the very slight pink berry tone. The packaging is really cute considering the product's price. I really like the gold lip and writing; it adds a bit of extra class. It's simple and classy. The product as an amazing peppermint scent and leaves a refreshing tingling feeling on your lips when applied.
I would definitely recommend this product to others. It's affordable and amazing!
I picked up one of these in a super dark berry a while ago, wanting to give it a try. I'm not really impressed though I don't hate these either, I'm kind of neutral.
These paints come in a colour matched tube with a gold cap, I really like the packaging and it doesn't feel too cheap. The applicator isn't very good though, it's just a squeezy tip and is very difficult to get a crisp line with. I find I have to use a brush with these lip paints.
These are super pigmented and opaque, but not too sticky. They dry down to a shiny finish, and last a few hours on me depending on if I'm eating and drinking a lot.
I probably won't be buying these again, they're kind of average for me and I prefer a matte lipstick instead.
I was lucky to get this in my Secret Santa present this year and got them in two colours – Coy (a gorgeous vibrant purple) and Elude (a lovely nude/coral).
At first it looks like a regular lip gloss type container with a squeezy tube and then comes out as a liquid gloss, pretty similar but not quite the same. You have to be careful when squeezing the tube as quite a bit of the product can come out quite quickly and too much makes your lips too wet. The formula was what I was the most surprised about to be honest as I just thought it would be another sticky type gloss that I wouldn’t really use that often but my Secret Santa knew better, sneaky sneaky lol.
I kind of squeezed too much out at the first attempt, and applied it to my lips, but had too much formula on and made my lips super wet and had too much product on. I wiped it off (a shame as it was a nice colour) and this time squeezed ever so lightly, just enough to get a small amount of product out and applied it to my lips. The colours were so pretty and totally me. The formula was so smooth and felt quite smooth on my lips and I didn’t get that horrible sticky sensation that I would usually get from a sticky lip gloss.
I really like these and am enjoying wearing them. Would love to see what other colours they have in this range. Thank you Secret Santa, I’m in love.
Tips: Comes out super quick, so don't squeeze too hard
