As a Clinique-a-holic, I buy a lot of Clinique products. I bought this brush when I had a life pharmacy voucher to use, as I thought it was an extravagant purchase. I felt very spoilt and couldn't wait to get home to try it.
The brush itself is very soft and I couldn't help running it over my face with nothing on it a few times, it felt so luxurious!
I followed the instructions, applying a little foundation to the back of my hand and away I went. I was disappointed though.
The brush sucked up quite a bit of foundation, and left stroke marks on large areas such as my cheek line and forehead. It was also difficult to apply the right amount around my nose and between my eyebrows without it looking patchy or overdone.
I still had to blend it with a sponge afterwards, and unless it was applied heavily I didn't see much more improvement than if I had applied the foundation with my fingertips.
It rinses out easily, but takes quite a while to dry.
I still use it occasionally, but only for special occasions and when I have plenty of time.
I use this when doing my makeup, Excellent quality! Easy to wash. I use this to apply my foundation and I use a wet or dry beauty blender to press it more into my skin if needed. It's easy to use and goes smoothly around your eyes and nose etc. I also love using this brush for concealer and creme contour. I've had this brush for 8 years and it's still as nice a when I brought it. It hasn't lost 1 hair since I've owned it.
Tips: because of the shape you can use it for concealer or cream contour.
