I purchased the Mineral Foundation to replace the compact powder DB offered, and I was really happy with the results - IF I used a minimum amount!
The container itself is very compact and a great size, however the lid it's too secure, so I am concerned it will pop open in my make up bag (hasn't happened yet, but it doesn't sound like something I want to clean up!). It's also a challenge to get a small amount of powder out if you just need a touch up!
The coverage is really great, but you need to make sure you get a really good color match for your skin as it's quite prominent.
I would use this product again, but next time I will choose the shade that looks a bit too light for my skin!
Firstly this Foundation has a SPF 15 – not huge, but I believe every bit helps. Talc Free – which was a plus today as I had been reading some theories on adverse effects of talc. Built in grinder – so I don’t have to worry about opening it and having it everywhere – yah! I like the box it came in – clear information on the box, with shiny silver, looks attractive, while that encourages me to pick it up, its just the wrapping. The actual container is Black with clear silver writing on it. Opens easily to reveal the powder puff and a good sized magnifying mirror – this is a mirror I can actually use! Clear instructions on how to twist to get the product. It is recommended to use a Kabuki brush for application, but the powder puff will be good if you just want to freshen up. Also the puff acts as a protector against powder flying out. Clear application instructions are also on the base of the container, which I prefer. Coverage wasn’t great. There were areas where I needed to apply more product and I needed to reapply during the day. I will probably keep this to use as a back up.
