I really love my shades of lipstick, they are quite moisturizing(I'm afraid the matte isn't that moisturizing. ). They glide on easily with a beautifully creamy texture, the matte lasts considerably long(except for the sheen, it doesn't last that long at all, but most sheen lipsticks don't any way). Overall its a decent product.

This lipstick is great for the price but it doesn't stay on my lips that long. I find it a bit difficult to apply and its very drying. I wouldn't purchase a lipstick from this brand again unfortunately as its put me off :/ The packaging is really cool though and there are lots of colours to choose from.
Tips: Apply lip balm before applying the lipstick!
I purchased the shade Mystic which is a matte finish. For $14 these are a bargin! They are slim and compact and even though the lipstick is small, It lasts quite a long time due to the formula.
For a matte lipstick, these have a great formula. Non Drying on my lips, a creamy consistency and the colour does not become patchy at all which is the best thing.
I will be forever repurchasing this shade as to me it looks like it may be a dupe for Utopia by Lime Crime. I love this colour to bits! I have not been disappointed by this lippy yet.
This lippy lasts all day. Easy to apply , easy to remove. Little transfer. I can eat and drink and still have the perfectly applied lipstick. I will be repurchasing for sure!
I am lucky enough to own two of these babies. The matte formula in the shade amped(which is hot pink and hot pink is my jam!) and the sheen in succumb(the most gorgeous brownish pinkish lippie I have ever owned,oh BR add a photo option where we can show swatches in reviews).
Im going to do two mini reviews for each formulation and a small summary at the end
Matte: As above I have the shade amped. The packaging is very small but its in a matte black case and, well, very sleek!See what I did there? Being a matte lipstick it is not expected to be super creamy but I did find unless I was wearing a balm underneath it was super hard to apply and settled into the creases of my lips, such a sexy image Im creating right? Keep in mind , I get chronically dry lips, if I have neglected my lips I cannot go near this. The shade is gorgeous, the finish is gorgeous and truely matte and holy poop the longevity is amazing, I can eat, drink and makeout with my hand for hours and its still there(yet to test this on a human...the makeout part not the eating, Im not going to eat a human!). It does settle into lines towards the end of the day but thats to be expected and sadly dries out my lips a little.
Sheen: As above I have the shade succumb(you need this shade in your life, go get it NOW!). The packaging is just like the matte formulation, gorgeous, classy and sleek. This goes on like a dream, smooth and creamy. The finish is a sheen finish which could be classed as semi glossy but unlike most semi glossy formula it has some real punch when it comes to staying power! It doesnt have the longevity of the matte formulation but its pretty good, I only reapplied once during the day. It doesnt settle into my lip lines and doesnt dry out my lips.
Summary: These lipsticks are the business. Both are super high quality and super long lasting and while the matte formulation stays put longer I do prefer the sheen formulation.
In conclusion, I see Sleek lipsticks in my future!!
Tips: Apply balm before using the matte formulation.
I bought the matte shade, Vamp, about a month ago and to be perfectly honest, I don't think I've worn anything else since. Obviously we're in a bit of a honeymoon period, but I just really love this colour. It's a great dark shade of red, almost leaning towards burgundy.
The formula goes on nicely and, as expected, it has a nice matte finish that doesn't feel too drying. The pigmentation is great for me as I love my lipsticks dark. The staying power isn't anything special, but I find I can get a decent couple of hours out of this before it succumbs to the rigours of eating and drinking.
The tube is matte black (my favourite colour!), sort of elliptical and cute. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination or an optical illusion, but it looks like it's a bit smaller than other lipsticks. Either way, it makes me feel like it takes up less valuable real estate in my makeup bag!
I thought this was a great lipstick for a low price and I'm keen to give a few more colours a try.
Tips: Lip balm is always a good idea before using a matte lipstick.
I was given the shade 'Loved Up' by Ellie on here as a gift. Prior to that I hadn't tried any Sleek products.
Loved Up is a true, bright, hot pink. It is like Barbie Pink but turned up a few notches. The pigmentation in this is really great - one swipe is super opaque and is more than sufficient to get a great pop of colour.
The formula is really lovely and hydrating - it feels a little similar to NYX's butter lipsticks in that it glides on effortlessly and doesn't skip. Upon application, your lips feel like they are wearing a creamy balm as opposed to a lip stick.
I haven't had any issues with this drying my lips out (this sometimes happens to me with other lip sticks), and because it is so hydrating the lasting power is around 2-3 hours before I need to reapply.
The finish is a semi gloss finish - it isn't super glossy but it isn't matte. It has a really nice soft sheen to it which I think compliments the amazing colour.
Overall I really love this lip stick - the colour is absolutely perfect for summer and I cannot wait to wear it more!
I purchased the matte formula in the shade Papaya Punch and I loathed it. It went on nice enough, just like any other matte lippy but within an hour it would bunch up on the lips and go chunky. It's super uncomfortable and not pleasant at all, you needed to take it off completely and then reapply, you can't just touch up. These aren't the cheapest matte lipsticks out there so I really don't recommend them especially since there are way more affordable options that wear much more nicely.
I was super excited to try these lipsticks so I purchased one of the sheen lipsticks (not usually my thing I'm more of a matte girl but thought I'd give it a go because the colour was stunning) in the colour 'Baby Doll' - it is the most GORGEOUS baby/nude pink and was so amped for it to arrive in the mail.
The packaging- Very cute, small and sophisticated it looks very simple and tidy.
The colour- Stunning
The outcome: The lipstick went on nice and smoothly as it was a sheen finish rather than a matte and I found it looked a little bit strange. Which was weird because I am quite fair and I generally suit most shades of lipsticks from pastel/pales to very dark colours. So I decided to blot it off a little and this was great it looked really nice ! But the staying power was just crap to be completely honest, if I was to wear it all day I would have to re apply SEVERAL times rather than just a few touch ups here and there and I'm just not committed to this lippy enough to do that. So over all it was okay but the lasting power wasn't great.
Would love this so much more if it lasted longer on my lips !
Tips: If you are finding that it isn't sitting quite right on your lips or looks a little strange try blotting it slightly- this worked great for me :) xx
I decided to buy two of these lipsticks after hearing so many great things about them and the brand in general.
The colour range is pretty good and extensive, the only colour I think they are missing is a lighter, more pinky nude colour as opposed to the darker brown based ones they offer. The lipsticks come in two finishs; Sheen and Matte which are basically self explanatory and both claim to be highly pigmented, conditioning and comfortable to wear.
I picked up two, one Sheen in the colour Baby Doll (a very light 'baby doll' pink) and one Matte in the colour Vamp (a perfect brick red vampy autumn/winter colour). When they arrived I was very excited as the colours looked great in the tubes and the packaging is super cool, its like a matte black and kind of oblong shape not round. My description of the packaging isn't doing any justice but trust me it looks super cool in my collection!
Vamp was quite hard to apply and I found it VERY drying, probably one of the most drying matte's I've tried. Definitely recommend a lip balm before this one! Once on, the colour payoff was amazing, so pigmented and such a great colour - looked stunning on! Lasts a fair amount of time too being a matte. Vamp has a sort of almost plasticky smell to it and a mild taste however its not unbearable.
Baby Doll is a sheen formula and I thought after Vamp that this would be the perfect lipstick. The colour payoff of the matte but without the drying effect - yay! I was so very wrong :( Baby Doll applies smoothly, being a sheen, however it looks absolutely terrible on the lips. It is opaque in parts and sheer in other parts so gives this disgusting clumpy patchy effect that is unwearable. I have tried this lipstick on a few times before writing this review as I've tried to make it work but I just can't. And yes my lips are exfoliated! Its probably the worst lipstick I own which is gutting as I wanted to love it! Total waste of money, do not recommend this colour. One bonus is that, unlike the matte, it has no smell or taste.
Overall I am pretty disappointed with these lipsticks. The packaging is cool and 'sleek' (ha!), the lipsticks look great in the tube but for the price I'd rather go for Revlon or spend a little bit more and get Mac. I wont be purchasing anymore of these and I don't think I'll ever be able to use Baby Doll however will continue to use Vamp because apart from the extreme drying effect, its actually quite nice!
Tips: Always exfoliate lips before applying lipstick!
Apply a lip balm before applying matte lipsticks to minimize dryness
Smother is from the sheen range, a deep purple shade with a slight pink tone to it.
The wee bullet it comes in is a wee matte tube with sleek in a slick black font across the lid. The bottom has the name, type and number on the bottom on a sticker. Most like all lipsticks, you pull the top off and twist the bottom. The stick comes up the tube.
The formula of this lipstick is so creamy and buttery. it goes on smoothly and gives the effect of a gloss over the lip. Its a beautiful sheen. I love ths sahde so i will continue to wear it. I am not a fan of the finish however
It transfers really easily and I find that I need to check the application often to see if it is still on the lip or not. With this formula it is better to line the lip to help prevent it from shifting.
If you are a matte lover i suggest the matte forula (obvisouly). If you like a sheen, shine glossy look these lipsticks are for you xx
