Not good

I picked this up for $12 at the big bucket sale and I am so glad I only paid this much as I have seen this palette in the Makeup Direct store for $49.99. No way in hell should anyone pay that much for this palette.

The packaging looks nice, but it does feel cheap and it comes with a brush that is pretty much unusable.

I have found there is only about three shades that I can actually use, but even then none of them are very pigmented. They are all very powdery and hard to work with, even with eyeshadow primer.

Even though it is possible to pick this up for cheap, I wouldn't really recommend it because there are barely any colours that can actually be used, and there are other palettes that are around the same price that are much better than this one.

W7 In The Nude Palette

I brought this online from the big bucket deal website for $12, the packaging really caught my eye as it was a lot like the urban decay naked 3. The packaging is the only reason i kept it for as long as i did because it was just so pretty, in saying that the eye shadow colours were really pretty but the pigmentation was just not there. Yes it was only $12 but i have used better maybelline eye shadows then this and ended up sadly selling it as it was just taking up room. I used a nude matte colour first and i had to use it around 5 times to get any colour at all then had to add a bit of sparkle just to get rid of the cakey look. I just did not love the eye shadows i wish i did love them! so disappointed !! im unsure if the other pallets are any better because they are a bit darker but i will not be taking the risk to try them out after this one sadly. I will not be recommending this to a friend.

Good for a cheap price.

This palette isn't the most pigmented one you can find, but for under twenty dollars, it's definitely not bad. The tin is a cool metal one and doesn't look as cheap as the Chichi ones. The colours are gorgeous, a mix of shimmers and mattes. The staying power is alright, but I think you need a strong eye primer to prevent creasing or disappearing. Worth it for a beginner or even just an addition to your colour range.

So beautiful

I bought this because it was inexpensive and everybody was saying it's a dupe for the Naked 3 palette (colour-wise). First of all, can we talk about the packaging? Omg. It is so absolutely beautiful.

The colours are so perfect and although at first I thought I wouldn't use all of them, I do and I love them. If you use a good brush, they are pigmented enough, but personally I wouldn't use them without an eyelid primer underneath because they're not the MOST pigmented ever.

If I use a good primer, these will literally last all day and night (I've worn it from 8am-10pm without touch ups and it still looked pretty perfect). To be fair, I always do a pretty simple eye look so I don't know what it would be like if you used heaps of colours and did something crazy complicated. I'm just not that skilled :P

I think that palette is super amazing - especially for the price.

W7 In the Nude Palette

Bought this as a low cost nude palette to add to my kit. Unfortunately I would not recommend. Pros: Affordable Impressive looking packaging, comes in a tin container not unlike the Urban Decay Naked palettes

Cons: Shadows are powdery and impossible to use without any fallout. I found the colours to be not pigmented, very cheap feeling and impossible to get any colour payoff at all.

I wouldn't recommend this palette, it's not a dupe for the Naked palettes, just a copy. Disappointing.

Tips: Don't buy!

Is the W for Waste?

I brought this off the Big Bucket Deals website after having read reviews (here of course), they were fairly mixed so I thought it must be ok. I have wanted a nude palette for ages & cannot afford the awesome ones like Urban Decay.... Thankfully I only paid $14!

First of all, I love the tin it comes in! That is beautiful! Almost worth the $14...

It comes with a Brush/ Sponge combo. The bristles on the Brush are plastic and I don't use a sponge for eyes anyway - so haven't even touched that.

The colours are all fairly similar - if these were pigmented then that would be awesome however the colours come out much the same on the skin apart from a few....

I have found they're not much better with a primer or helper...

I found the little amount of colour that does show on my eyelids also wears off in a few hours.

So all in all - don't waste your money!

Tips: Buy a better palette - Maybelline is reasonably priced & has awesome reviews

w7 In the Nude

I think that overall, I do enjoy using this product, It is very affordable as I bought it for $13 and the colours are so lovely! A few mattes and some shimmery colours can't go wrong! I do use this for a nude eyeshadow look quite often and I do admit that I love it! Although I am disapointed in the fact that the colours are not very pigmented. I know for a cheap eyeshadow, I shouldn't expect much although the only one that really shows up is the darkest brown. The rest of the colours just all look the same as they are so light and aren't very visible on my skin. This is a bit disappointing as I was excited to try all different colours on this although have found myself only using the dark colour as it is the only one I can see on my skin! The brush is a bit of a let down aswell, as it doesn't apply or blend the eyeshadow very well. I do find that the colous are good for a transition shade because they are very light and easy to dust on.

Tips: Wet your brush if you want more vibrancy or just use the neutral to darker shades as transition colours.

A rude nude!!

I got this from my local Postie Plus for $15 so it didn't break the bank which made my heart happy. At the time I was looking for the perfect nude and after inspecting the back for colours I was convinced to have it in my collection.

I love how sturdy the packaging is. It comes in a metal tin case and a cushioned tray inside. with the pans nicely set in it. It comes with a dual ended brush which to me tends to gouge out the shadow pans rather than dust it out. The brush is very rigid and actually quite harsh on the lids of the eye.

The colours are gorgeous but are not highly pigmented. I ended up having to use a primer to show them up a little bit more. Even after using a setting powder the eyeshadow wore off after 2 or so hours so what a waste of my time if I want to look good for the day. I ended up using my own choice of shadow brush which didn't make a difference to the quality to the palette. The fallout off the brush was massive, I was left with eyeshadow down my clothes!

At the end of the day I would suggest you don't waste your time on this bad quality palette. The colours are sheer even for a nude and it doesn't last long on the lids. The application brush and sponge duo is a waste of my time because it ruins the shadow and doesn't apply it like it should.

Tips: Keep moving, don't even bother

best nude shades ever

I have olive skin and this palette went on like a dream. it has a few different shades of nudes with white and black, perfect for that smokey eye. got mine at postie plus which also had other pallettes. think I paid $15? goes on easily and the tin is the naked2 dupe. included are 2 brushes (double end)

Tips: use an eye lid primer, add white onto your eye lid for more colour

Great nudes.

I got this along with the In The Buff palette from a makeup sale and this is what I prefer more but I like both palettes. This one has more pink and brown tones which is what I'd usually go for in eyeshadows. The palette has a combination of matte and shimmer shades and I think for the price, this is a good value for money. I've worn this and it has lasted on my eyes with an eyelid primer. The shimmer shades are not too shimmery and I like the matte ones too. I do find the darker shades are more pigmented though compared to the light ones. I found the shadows easy to blend as well.

Overall, for an inexpensive palette, I think this is great. I'm not one to splurge on eyeshadows and this palette is good for me.
