I first became aware of Art Deco when I had a quick browse through Farmers with my sister. I tried on a nude lippy and got a good compliment from it. I was given this Mascara as part of a Random Act of Kindness gift from Chikoboo. She gifted this to me a few months ago now. I have used on several occasions.
This mascara comes in a black tube with Art deco branding going down one side of it. The lid is a metallic silver. When I open this I find the brush bristles are thick. The head of the wand is shaped like a tear drop. The consistency is like any type of mascara black fluid that is creamy.
When I apply this mascara it goes on smoothly. I have not experienced any clumping so far with this. It gives my lashes volume on my top lashes. The black mascara covers my lashes perfectly. I did try wearing this all day and it did last until mid afternoon and then I needed to re apply more.
I thoroughly enjoyed using this mascara. It was a nice change from my usual Maybelline or model co. I am intrigued by this Art Deco brand. I think this mascara is priced fairly. I would like to try more of their products in the future.
On a whim whilst doing a little shopping I ended up at the Art Deco stand and thought as I was actually out shopping for mascara and that I haven't used Art Deco yet that it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try one of their mascaras.
Picking up Angel Eyes because I liked the name of it as I had visions of these wonderfully wispy, full, long lashes. The design of the barrel is simple but effective, I find that it has excellent grip that allows me to do a great hook and wriggle from base of my lashes to the tips which gives them so volume and length. The black and silver look is chic and classic too. Inside the mascara wand has plastic almost fake fibre spiral brush to it that allows for the best application for me personally as I like my lashes fluffly but not flaky and clumpy. It has some decent wear time too with a couple of coats lasting me all day through to the evening without any clumping, smudging, flaking or fall outs.
The formula is a nice thick, almost creamy black that even after 4 weeks of constant use is still as fresh as day one, this formula doesn't seem to get all crispy and dry around the barrel either. I love this mascara and have already brought my second tube as I know any day my current one is going to finish.
Tips: Hook and wriggle from base of lash to the tip and this formula will not clump or flake, but cling to your lashes making them fluffy and full
