I have had this is in Butternut and Nouveau neutrals. Nouveau neutrals is more wearable as the shades are very natural looking and not too sparkly/frosty - the butternut has a couple of pretty metallic shades (a purpley slate grey and a bronzy olive brown) but the other two shades in the compact are chalky and glittery. All in all a good cheap buy if you can get for a good price however you are getting very little product for your money.

Tips: Buy on sale! And wear a primer with this or it will only last a couple of hours!
I have butternut the colours are awesome for everyday. But the shadows are very chalky these are good for beginners but you will need a primer underneath
I do find these ELF eyeshadow quads to be a little powdery however some of the quads are quite pigmented and some are not so. I own three of them are the brighter bolder colors tend to have more pigmentation than the browner/natural color ones. In my opinion for the price they are still worth it, they do the job and if your wanting a full range of different colors but on a budget then these are your quads.
Tips: I havn't tried applying them wet yet...but this could produce a more pigmented, less powdery application.
I didnt like this eye shadow at all, it is like chalk, and its very easy to come off, one of the worst products i have ever used. I had brought to try because it was cheap
I got this as a free gift with my online purchase from Crush Cosmetics. The colours look great in the palette, but they apply quite sheer. I normally use this when I wear minimum makeup.
I purchased this quad as part of an ELF haul because it so super cheap, as I wanted to know what the hype and fuss was about. I really was not expecting the world of make up miracles because I only paid $2 for it on iherb.
The eyeshadow was not very pigmented and didnt have any lasting power on it own. I however used it conjunction to the ELF eyeshadow primer and I found the eyeshadows to work a treat. I wouldnt be my first choice of eyeshadow, but if I was really in need, then I would get these little guys.
Not all girls can afford high end make up so I'm glad that there is a make up range for the girl that loves make up but doesnt have the money to go high end. Now we can all look make up beautiful :)
Tips: Use this eyeshadow with the ELF eyeshadow primer in champagne for richer pigments and a longing lasting staying power
Although this is super cheap I wouldn't recommend it. The shadows are chalky, not pigmented and don't last long at all. Disappointing as the shades are quite nice. There are other affordable brands like nyx, sleek, jordana etc that I would recommend for beginners and those on a tight budget over these shadows.
Without any primer, this eyeshadow is a waste of money. It's not very pigmented alone and the consistency isn't what I'd like at all, but I use UD eyeshadow primer and using the products together definitely makes a difference.
If this was any more expensive, I wouldn't recommend it. For 3 dollars, however, it's not a terrible product. If you can invest in a tube of eyeshadow primer, this could be a decent shadow for you!
I don't like this eyeshadow quad at all. The colours aren't pigmented and the texture of all of them is very chalky. I found that when blended with a blending brush all the colours fade a lot and it looked as though I had just applied a shimmer to my eyelids.
I purchased this online, as it was so cheap. The colours were really nice, but definitely not long lasting at all. It creased really badly on me, and that was with eyeshadow primer and it was quite a dry formula with a lot of fall out underneath my eyes.
