NYX Professional Makeup Dewy Finish Setting Spray

I found this product while on holiday in Australia I think I paid 14 for it. (Dewy finish) I now use it every time I do my makeup mainly for the reason that I use a mineral foundation but I'm not a fan of the matte look. It adds back some moisture and helps set everything in place leaving a nice dewy look

As a user of powder foundation, I always make sure to never leave home without setting my makeup with a spray as I absolutely detest the powdery look. Anyway, I bought the matte one over the dewy one as my Tzone can get oily very easily and I don't have time to constantly touch up.

When I get home after a long day of work/uni my makeup is still intact and not sliding off my face which is great as it has definitely set and increased the longevity of my makeup. In terms of keeping my face matte all day, it does the job however my Tzone does get a little shiny after midday but not to the point that I should touch up.

Overall, this spray is good in terms of its price point - it isn't very expensive for the amount of product you get ($16 for 60ml). It increases the longevity of makeup (about 8 hours) and mattifies for the majority of the day.

I have a confession to make.. I maaaay have borrowed this little bottle of magic from my sister. And forgotten to return it. This setting spray does everything you could want it to - it holds your make up in place, gives you a beautiful glowing finish, and makes you feel nice and refreshed (avoiding the dreaded cake face!) The bottle is generously sized (but still small enough to fit in your purse) and has cute monochrome labelling that makes it look more professional than the 'NYX' brand would suggest. The spray mechanism functions well, it doesn't get stuck and distributes product evenly, The product itself doesn't stain or smell at all, and it doesn't feel sticky - definitely preferable to setting your makeup with hair spray, and in my opinion this is just as effective! My only qualm is that if I use this to set an already dewy looking foundation (or my BB cream with SPF) it can make my face a bit too shiny. Next time I might try the matte finish (and of course grab another bottle of dewy for my sister!)

Packaged in a black matte spray bottle, this lightweight, long-lasting spray dries instantly with a non-sticky finish.  It does help keep my make-up looking fresher for longer with only 2 - 3 spritzes.

When spraying the mist, press the nozzle down fast and firmly to get a fine mist.  Unfortunately, the spray bottle nozzles are not always consistent and some bottles can be more tempremental and vary between a fine mist and spraying rather large droplets.  I've found with trial and error (especially if the bottle has a faulty spray nozzle) that spraying the setting spray into the air and then walking into the mist is more reliable than squirting the bottle directly onto my face and risk having large droplets run down my perfectly applied make-up.  

I grabbed this goodie on a whim when I visited Sephora on holiday in Malaysia as it was affordable and I wanted to try something of this sort. I had never heard of NYX setting spray before but man am I glad I decided to give this a try.

My skin can get incredibly oily and have the feeling my makeup is sliding off so I need something that holds my makeup.

I apply a full face of makeup and once finished I will spritz about two pumps of this spray on my face. I close my eyes and hold the bottle straight toward my face but move my face around whilst spraying so that it catches my whole face.

The setting has a clean and fresh smell to it and once it makes contact with your skin it gives it a slight refreshing tingle.

You hard work of applying a full face of makeup will be rewarded because your makeup stays put the entire day. I love that it gives my skin just a slight glow and not an oily look.

This spray really works wonders and I recommend it to everyone looking for a fresh dewy face that is going to last all day.

Whilst I have dry skin, warm weather means that I sometimes end up sweating my face off. I bought NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray in hopes that it would keep my makeup on, without making me look dry or powdery - and it did just that. A couple of sprays, and after a whole day walking around in the sun my face looked just like it did in the morning. I've also used this when spending a whole day dancing for a show, and it was great.

I'm a oily skin girl, so the 'dewy' look is always something I have stayed well clear of as I assumed on me it would look more 'greasy' than 'glowing'.

I bought this at a NYX stand after thinking it was time to give this much-loved beauty trend a go and seeing so many images of radiant dewy summer looks. I apply about four sprays at elbow length away from my face after I have applied all my makeup bar mascara, one spray each to my cheeks, forehead and chin. The spray itself is still quite fine but pays to look at wear the nozzle is pointed so you don't waste product.

Not only does this setting spray hold my makeup in place all day, it gives my matte finish makeup the most beautiful, radiant glow. It creates just the right amount of dewyness without being shiny, and I love how if I have overdone it a tad with powder it makes my skin look less cakey but healthy, win-win!

This is an amazing product and I'll definately repurchase.

This is def my holy grail setting spray. I have extremely oily skin and makeup falls off my face by lunch time, however with the use of this it stays put and looking fresh! The dewy look is amazing, and makes me look healthy! It;s extremely lightweight so I cant feel it when its on, and when I move my face around it doesn't feel stiff! I find I have to apply it closer to my face then the directions because it doesn't spray a lot out of the bottle. The only bad thing is the smell.

I go through a lot of setting spray as I have really oily skin. This product is my 'go to' as a student as it's cheap and does the job.

The first thing to note about this spray is that its nice and light without having the sticky consistency that some setting sprays have. It holds my makeup in place really well. I have even misted my face after priming and before applying foundation and had really good results. People tend to complain about the smell - I can't smell anything personally. To me it doesn't even have a scent.

Realistically it's not as good as UDs setting spray, but you expect that with the cheap pricing. It does a great job nonetheless!

I love dewy look. I have been trying many makeup tricks to get perfect dewy look. But the method to obtain this perfect dewy look requires time and effort so voila I found an instant dewy spray.

I am in awe with this product. NYX has won me over by this product alone. Now I could just apply my regular makeup and spray NYX dewy finish setting spray to set my makeup. I only put 1-2 sprays and it makes my skin look natural. I am not very heavy with makeup on a daily basis so this is perfect. It doesn't make my skin oily or heavy on my skin. It almost feels like water spray.

When I buy any cosmetics I always look if I can use them on a daily basis. I want to use the product on a regular basis so that it gets good use especially when I have way too many beauty products. This setting spray is part of my daily routine now. I have a very busy schedule at work running from one meeting to another all day. This setting spray keeps my makeup in tact and makes me look fresh for a long time.

I bought this product from Cherry Culture during 40% off sale and got this for $6 NZD which is very cheap and so affordable. I won't think twice restocking this product when I see a sale again.
