I have dry skin, but still found this foundation too oily for me- maybe best for more mature skin . It is called nearly naked so if you're looking for coverage don't get this - but if you like light and not too noticeable this could be for you! Just not for me but does what it claims

I have Almay foundation in the colour light. I find this foundation is very drying so I always have to put a layer of moisturiser on before it. It says it it helps clear blemishes but I have never found it to do so. I would think of this as a good BB cream or tinted moisturiser or something good for beginners to make-up as it doesn't make you look completely cake faced. I bought mine at a make-up clearance for $12, and was quite impressed for the price as most BB creams are over the $20 mark.
Tips: Use a light powder over the top to help cover blemishes and remove the shine.
I've gone through a bottle or two of this foundation and it does what it says, gives a nice coverage while allowing your skin to still show through. But since my skin has become more problematic and I need more coverage, unfortunately I will not be using it again for a while. I find that it dose give a very dewy finish and doesn't last all that long without being set.
I like this foundation. I bought a Maybelline one that was waaay to dark for me, so picked this up a few days later at an importers clearance. It was fairly cheap, between $12-$14 if I recall correctly. The formula is in between thick and runny, and it is most definitely buildable. I find that it does make the skin look very dewy, and it does wear off quickly if not set. Once it is set, however, it does hold blush and bronzer and whatever else you wear nicely. I think I will use this until I run out, but I'll purchase something else that's maybe a bit more matte and less oily.
This is my everyday foundation and I actually love it so much!! When I picked it up (purely for the price) I was a little cautious. However the colour is great and texture even better. What Makes this foundation so good is the quality that you get for the price! The application i nice and smooth. I can build this foundation easily and it feels very light on my face. There were no adverse affects on my skin which is so important in any decent foundation. I think I like this foundation most because it does not look like I have caked my face and offers a more natural blemish free look. When going to more formal events I would probably opt to use another foundation but I find this excellent for everyday use.
Too be perfectly honest, this isn't the best liquid foundation I have ever used. It does the job much like any other foundation but I didn't really feel like it had very good staying power on my skin. I think I ended up using it as a day time foundation but used a different more longer lasting one when going out at night. I didn't particularly like the texture on my skin, it wasn't as light weight as they would lead you to believe. Wasn't very flawless either. I don't know, maybe I expect too much from a foundation. I just didn't think it was that good. I wouldn't use it again unless I was suddenly on a budget. I guess you get what you pay for with foundation.
Starting with the packaging - it was simple. I am not a huge fan of a lid without a pump as this can mean transferring bacteria back to the bottle as I dont use a spatula! Having said this, the actual product texture was great but it was very difficult to match a colour and what I thought was the perfect match in the shop appeared to be far too light at home! This may have skewered my complete outlook on the product but I did not like it at all and ended up giving it away after about 10 days. The finish appeared flawless for the first hour or so, but thereafter I did not think the coverage was good as even slight blemishes started to show through. Would I purchase it again - no I would not even consider it.
Unfortunately this product is now discontinued and has been re-released under the Revlon branding but the product is different. The Almay version is a lovely sheer makeup with a texture similar to a tinted moisturiser with a bit more coverage. I think of it as what existed before BB creams came about - easy to apply, never settles into pores or enhances flakes/dry spots and provides spf protection. Great for daily wear, however not at all long wearing and oily skin types would probably not enjoy this. The shade Buff was my perfect match - super pale and yellow toned. Very sad this has been discontinued!
