Actually i don't have dry skin, its an oil slick at the best of times, but I got a new foundation and it clung to the dry islands of skin on my face and looked poop, so I decided to mix n match my primers with this one. Regrets? None. This primer is fantastic. I've even used it on my oily spots without too much drama. And it smells just like all the oils that are also in the Hourglass lip oil. It is a bit sticky when first applied, but leave it a few minutes to soak in, and its probably one of the few primers that makes your skin better.
Getting a good 8 hours wear out of a foundation that would normally wear for 4-6 hours.
I love hourglass primers I added this to my routine a few weeks ago. I have been using and still do the hourglass veil primer but wanted to add a bit more hydration to my skin and this was recommended to me in storeI brought the 8ml primer for $34. It is quite pricey but after taking a small sample away from Mecca I was hooked.
The primer contains 28 beneficial ingredients. A mixture of oils, vitamins and lipids to help nourish and soften the skin. The oil is thicker than other facial oils I have used but isn't sticky and has a subtle fragnance.
The glass bottle is very elegant. The pump makes it hygienic and easy to dispense the right amount out. I gently press down half way as you only need the smallest amount of oil to cover your face. I apply all over my face after moisterising as my skin is on the drier side especially in Winter. I then wait a few minutes for the oil to absorb into my skin and then apply the hourglass veil primer over the top before foundation. I find this combination give me a flawless finish. The No. 28 nourishes my skin while the veil primer helps reduce redness. My skin feels so hydrated that my foundation is less likely to crease into my fine lines or clog my pores. I also notice that my foundation wears much better and last at least 7-8 hours.

Tips: Mix with the hourglass veil for the ultimate prep and prime.
