Eco Tools Retractable Kabuki Brush Review

Eco tools have always been on my list of trustable brands. Their iconic green package and bamboo handle brushes gives an eco-friendly impression. Though some brushes seem to be too thick for me (the angled liner brush for example), this brush is really soft and works really well. Here are some of my favourite features:

+ The packaging is convenient, the brush comes with a cap so it is protected from all kind of dust and nasties, especially when I'm travelling. The length of the handle is also convenient, either too short or long. + The price is good, especially on iherb and some online websites. + the texture of the brush is soft and maintains well even with frequent use, especially with mineral foundation

It's a shame that I have to give this a negative review because until my brush broke this was quite good. The bristles are soft and gentle on the skin and it is a handy size and format for travel. I would keep this in my handbag and use it after the gym etc. It's especially good if you're someone who doesn't like the unhygienicness of sponges.

Unfortunately this fell apart pretty quickly and that therefore counteracted the usefulness of it being retractable. Even though it was quite cheap I expected more from it and won't be repurchasing.

I love this little brush, how it retracts away so it shields itself from dust and dander. Its casing is made of some form of metal, definitely not plastic as it has a cold feeling to it in the mornings. The lid is awesome at holding its place atop the body of the brush, if dropped it doesn't roll off or force the brush to push out.

The fibres of the bristles are good and soft whilst being robust to everyday scarping around my powders then onto my face with big swirls, I haven't found a single straying bristle yet. It doesn't drag and it supplies an even coverage with its broad profile.

Washing and drying is easy going and it doesn't the cleaning as I have done so several times and its still as bouncy and soft as the day I freed it from its packaging.

I bought this cute little brush to use my MAC oil blotting powder, I use this on a daily basis for touch ups during the days and I have been enjoying this so far.

I love that it has a cap to protect the brush from being damaged by storing it in my bag, my bag tends to get a bit messy during the weeks and things often get squashed; so having a cap for the brush really helps protects the bristles from falling out, getting dusty etc.

I love that the bristles is very soft and the handle of the brush is just the perfect size to grip onto.

I have had this brush for several months now and I have washed it regularly, I haven't had any problems of bristles falling out etc and after the brush dries to its shape, it still appears as bouncy and soft.

I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a travel size powder brush, this can also be use for bronzer and blush. In my opinion it's worth the money.

I popped this baby into my iherb cart for around $10 on special. The main reason was that I was sick of travelling with my other kabuki that has no protective lid.

This is a great little brush, the fact that you can retract it and cover the top means that it is protected from moisture, dirt and spills in the handbag or sponge bag.

The bristles are nice and soft and I have great results applying my mineral foundation with it.

Overall it is a very handy, hygienic and attractive makeup brush that I highly recommend for the low price.
