Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this. So far I've found it to be pretty good - The colour is a nice dark black, it removes easily without too much rubbing which I like and it's quite buildable for those of us who like to apply more than one coat. The wand has been pretty good at picking up all my lashes, even the ones in my outer corner that usually give me a bit of trouble. The one thing I don't like about it, and it wasn't until I got it out of the packaging and put it on my vanity, is that it looks like a tampon. It's a really silly thing to be put off but I just don't like that aspect of this product. I have suffered no eye irritation or product flaking off my lashes with this which is another point in its favour. I would purchase again depending on what price I could get it for.

First impressions. The wand has a slight curve in the centre which made the application a breeze!

It added a nice subtle curl to my lashes as I was layering the product. I did two coats on each lash and the build up was lovely! My lashes actually touch my eyebrows when I look up (I do already had longer natural lashes) but this mascara just adds a gorgeous amount of length and volume to my lashes.

I did find that this mascara was slightly clumpy so I tried to go in with a different applicator to brush and separate the lash clumps but the mascara had already set so it made it difficult to do so. So the next day I tried it again and I wiped the excess mascara off onto the rim of the tube (I do it this way so that when you put the wand back in, it picks up the excess stuff on the side so there is no wastage) and I was immediately impressed with the application. It wasn’t clumpy at all and it actually made my lashes look like they were natural looking extensions! I have never had that with a mascara before so I was very impressed.

Overall it’s such a nice smudge proof mascara. Definitely an 8-10 for me! It’s so easy to remove and didn’t leave me with panda looking eyes after my shower like all of my other mascaras do on my lazy eye make up remover days.

I'm not normally a fan of mascara. It tend to irritate my eyes. But not this one. I found it to be thicker than most mascaras, and wasn't clumpy. My lashes are also very long and straight and I normally have trouble getting them to hold curl but this product definitely helped do that and it lasted. Loving this product!

This Mascara comes in a wide bottle which is nice and easy to hold. At first glance the wand is a little strange and I wasn't sure how to use it. But it actually works quite well. The formula is nice and thick and glides on nicely and drys almost instantly so you don't get accidental spots on your eyelids. I found it left the lashes looking dark and not clumpy with just one coat. However I did not notice any curling affect. Maybe this was my application technique? It stayed in place without any panda eyes and removed easily with Micellar water on a cotton pad. I would recommend this product but if your looking for curly lashes your may wish to continue with the eye lashes curlers.

I was lucky to be picked for a BR trial of this product. The product does exactly what it says it does, your lashes are big and bouncy. My lashes are quite long and nicely curled to begin with but while wearing this mascara I was asked if I was wearing false lashes and not believed when I said no. The mascara is easy to apply and the brush works well. The mascara was easy to remove with a makeup remover wipe. The packaging is basic and plastic but durable and good for something like keeping in your gym bag. My only gripe with this product is that the end of the tube is not flat so I can’t stand it upright when I’m applying the product. For some reason I didn’t want to lay it on its side without the lid on.

The first impression when I saw “Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara, Blackest Black”: Wow! It is cute and fresh look! The Presentation: The packaging is beautiful in White & Yellow rounded tube design. The mascara when I try it on: I tried one coat and I noticed that my eyelashes become a bit curly——thanks for the special designed brush. This is standard size curved bristle and it is easy for me to apply mascara on. It says “memory-curl formula” on the product and this made me feel exited. My habit is to use an eyelash curler before applying mascara, and with “Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara”, seems I can save the “eyelash curler”:)) The effect: I noticed that “Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara” not only not clump together on my eyelashes, but also my eyelashes looked natural, thickened yet flake-free. I am Asian and my eyelashes are short and straight. I like to use up to two coats of mascara because I enjoy the natural look ( not very thick and not very dark). The longevity of this mascara: It is quite long lasting on my eyelashes. I work 9.5 hours a day and after work I can see the mascara are still stayed on my eyelashes. I was very curious about the “washable mascara” feature that it says on the packaging. So I tried just use face wash to see if it really work like that. The outcome was: some of the mascara were still attached on my eyelashes and I had to use eye make-up remover to clean off the remaining mascara. Overall: This is a very nice mascara on the go. It combines “curler”and “mascara” for an easy use. The curl N bounce effect is amazing. The outlook of the product is pleasant. And the price of this product is very affordable.

Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara is an absolutely epic mascara, i have used so many different brands in my many years of wearing makeup an this is by far the nicest i have been blessed to try. I believe it will be my forever go to mascara, unless they somehow come up with an even better one this beauty. It is thicker than alot of other mascaras I've used in the past, where I've needed to have endless cotton buds on hand to clean up the eyelids.

This is from where my lashes would touch my eyelids as I opened my eyes as they weren't dry oh the dramas, No clumps just the words a girl wants to hear with a new mascara. Then we have the coverage an what can I say but AMAZING, this baby dries fast so if you want more coverage doubling up applications isn't a long process an no mess needing those good old cotton buds. Dont forget about the amazing brush that also helps with the curl that every girl loves her lashes to have, I didn't even have to use my eyelash curlers now that's just another plus for this solo mama with not so much spare time on her hands.

I love this mascara so much I even went out to get one for my mum from the chemist warehouse at the wicked price of only $17.24, this makes me super excited an happy that this is available there an its cheaper than I've paid for other brands.

So ladies if you need a new mascara, make sure bee line to chemist warehouse if you want it at an amazing price or other stockist an try this bad boy you won't regret it.

Wow I am so impressed! Straight out of the packet and straight on my lashes, no lumping, no clumping, no excess build up of product. My lashes are sky high and instant curl all over. Lovely full lashes top and bottom that lasted fully all day and still looked fresh into the pm.

I enjoyed using this mascara. I felt it separated my lashes nicely. I didn’t notice a huge ‘curl’ as advertised. But it did a great job still and washed away easily in the shower.

I wore this every day after receiving it. I like the brush, it worked really well even on my lower ones, easy to get the lashes no accidents bumping into my skin. The tube I got was a good consistency not dry, also not too wet. One coat gives noticeable length and thickness without getting crunchy. I tried another coat after the first thoroughly dried and got super thick long lashes but not that awful squashed spider look. It does get hard on the second coat. I have pretty long lashes, if I frowned and looked down you could see the tips of my lashes touching my eyebrows. I could feel them hitting my glasses too. I was on a Teams call for work and someone asked if I had lashes on. So I stuck with one coat only after that. I found it didn't flake or transfer at all unless I forgot and rubbed my eye a bit. It was easy to get off just with a bit of micellar water. I really like this mascara, I am going to continue using it and would purchase it when I finish it.
