I received the colour "Hungry Like The Wolf", which is a deep dark red, as a gift. The formula is quite drying but the pigment is quite strong. As the colour is quite dark, I tend to use it as a stain by lightly blotting the colour over my lips.

Drying
I received one of these lippies in a goodie bag that I got when I renewed a magazine subscription at the food show last year. I had high expectations as I have absolutely loved every other Antipodes product I have tried.
Sadly I was disappointed. I found it extremely drying on my lips and it had very poor staying power.
The ingredients and the packaging are really nice, but it just does not perform well enough for me.

Pleasantly surprised that a natural lipstick would have such a strong pigment to it, I purchacsed Hungry Like The Wolf and found it has great staying power, the only thing would be to apply lip balm underneath as a first coat as it can dry out your lips but I haven't found any serious faults with this. Happy to use again and buy because I know it's a natural formula and the colour is lovely.
