Tips: when adding the glue onto the lash wait before putting it on
I never use the glue that comes with my lashes - I always use Duo. It goes to the perfect 'tacky' consistency quickly, and holds my lashes in place all day (and night!)
I've woken up with my lashes still perfectly applied using this glue.
Its great on my sensitive eyes.
The title pretty much says it all - this glue is easy to use, stays comfortably all day and hols on even the more weighty lashes.
It stays 'fluid' between uses - it doesnt dry out.
Great price, great product.
This is my favourite lash glue. Easy to use and not to messy. Dries clean but still recommend using eyeliner with stick on lashes
This product doesn't let me down, it dries down nicely and keeps your lashes in place. Doesn't pull your natural lashes when removing your falsies. Can be a bit hard to get on an even amount across the lash due to the squeezy bottle design.
This is my ultimate favourite lash glue. This is the only lash glue I’ve found that actually makes my lashes stick all night! My only negative is the smell, I’m not sure what it is but it has a really weird smell, but I can see past it because of how good the glue is.
Tips: This glue needs to be left to dry for at least 2-3 minutes to get tacky before you try attach it to your lids, otherwise it will slide around on your eyelids
So I have tried lots of different lash glues and this one is definetly the best so far! Easy to apply to lashes and it’s not as harsh when it’s time to remove the lash from your eye. Easy to peel off lashes as well so you are able to use them again and again. Worth the price you pay for quality.
Tips: Make sure to peel the remaining glue off the lashes when you have removed them from your eyes to avoid nasty glue built up over time
This glue is one of the best I have used. It can be a bit tricky to apply thinly and evenly due to the size of the nozzle end but a make up artist recommended using a toothpick to spread out the glue which I found works well.
The glue goes on white but dries clear so you can't see it underneath the lashes. It's non irritating too so I can use confidently on my sensitive skin. It's easy to remove too. I gently place a hot facecloth on my eyes and press down before peeling of my false eyelashes.
Tips: Wait till the glue goes tacky to apply lashes.
Duo Adhesive sticks all types of lashes, from cheap to expensive, and they stay stuck! The glue is latex based (which can smell “fishy” to some people) so please don’t use it if you have an allergy to latex. If you’re not sure, do a patch test before using.
I found that the large nozzle on the squeeze tube makes it difficult to apply the glue straight from the tube without it turning messy, so I prefer to use a clean toothpick to lift a small amount of glue from the tube before transferring it onto the eyelash strip.
I like to leave the lashes to “rest” with the glue on them for 30 to 60 seconds before applying them, as this allows the glue to become tacky and they tend to stick better. Don’t worry about the glue being white, it does dry clear and can’t be seen once the lashes have been applied and the glue has dried completely. I do like to go over the edge of the lashes with a gel or liquid eyeliner once the glue has dried, just to create a nice neat line and cover any glue residue.
Back when I was still using the little (unreliable) tubes of glue that came in the boxes with most eyelashes, I found that the lashes had a tendency to become unstuck at the worst of times, and even had one fall off in the middle of a corporate Christmas dinner party! Since that unpleasant little experience, Duo Adhesive is now my go-to eyelash glue.
Tips: It can also be used to stick diamanté, little crystals or any other decorative embellishments onto your skin.
