This line has the prettiest shades! But when I purchased one for myself and took it home I found the formula was very buttery and did not last on my lips at all. Don't think I aould. Re purchase another but I'm wondering if it's just personal preference as I'm usually a matte lipstick gal. Just unfortunate about the colour pay off. Looked more like a sheer lip gloss on me

I was given an Art Deco Art Couture Lipstick as a present and was quite impressed with it. The shade was Red Muse or something similar. The lipstick came in the bullet type style (which is my lipstick shape preferrence) with the ARTDECO brand name stamped into the lipstick. That I felt was a waste of production time and lipstick but not a huge factor in my overall opinion.
The lipstick upon application was creamy and well pigmented. It also lasted a decent amount of time which is something I want a lipstick to achieve.
The packaging for this lipstick was plainer than I expected with the black tube, I expected them to play on the art deco theme a little more. But the factor that sold this lipstick for me was that it had a bit more endurance than most lipsticks I've used.
Tips: At $32 at Farmers use your club card and wait for their beauty sale.
Very occasionally, I'll come across a product I have nothing negative or even on the fence to say about. This is one of those.
First off, I believe I have this in Velvet Graceful Rose. I'll put it out here that I have olive skin that looks dark despite me actually being as pale as I can get (skintone yay) but on top of that, I have naturally very dark lips. I have tried many lipsticks of varying colours and finishes. This is one of the two I feel I can wear on their own. It's a deep rose on the cool side and it compliments my lips perfectly like few other lipsticks do.
As for the formula, it's creamy and has a satin finish. I can apply on my lips and blot it with a tissue and that would last me a good few hours unless I'm doing a lot of talking and/or eating. Lipliner would help but I found if I applied it that way, it still looks great and a little more natural.
Would I buy this again? Absolutely. I'd actually love to have this for many years to come. It's so incredibly hard to find a lipstick that works for me both colour and formula wise and this one has nailed it.
I went into Farmers with my sister a couple of weeks ago and stumbled into this Art Deco stand. I was playing around with all the different colours they had. I was given this as a present. I wouldn't have an idea about costs.
The lipstick came in a black Box. Black and white labelling on the front. Sleek gloss black lipstick case. I have two colours. One colour is a nude and the other is a shimmery pink.
On application the lipstick glidded on my lips smoothly. Was very moist and soft on my lips. Had no scent to it at all. It does come off slightly when drinking and eating.
Not sure about cost as it was a gift. Since using it , it has been the best one I have used. Definately would like to try other products in this line. My lips can be dry at times. I usually put balm on in between using lipsticks.
A few months ago, I was introduced to Art Deco makeup & I have been loving their products ever since! The jungle Fever Collection is almost too pretty to use!
Two beautiful Art Couture Lipsticks feature in this collection, the pearl blazing red (no.366) is my favourite as well as all the other girls in the office it seems. It is deliciously creamy and nourishing, and is intensely pigmented, for an ultimate statement lip that doesn’t feather or bleed.
Tips: You can go and try these limited edition beauties for yourselves at any Farmers store; but get in quick before they are all gone.
