Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

These liquid lipsticks are good for the price of $15. They smell amazing and have a great colour range. My only downfalls is that you can only put on one layer before it starts to go all patchy and uneven. Putting on another layer also makes it almost go crumbly? And they are super super drying. I feel like that there are better ones out there for the same price range

I absolutely love my Velour Lips, I have about 10-12 of the colours and constantly want more.

Other people have not liked the consistency but I find it perfect! It's long wearing, doesn't spread all over my face.

After 4 days of wearing it in a row I might find it gets a bit dry and patchy, but as long as I either mix it up between these and another lipstick and exfoliate & balm I find them perfect for those nights when you don't want to spend ALL day checking your face.

i was very lucky enough to win the whole set of these from the Australis Instagram page a wee while ago, i love many of these shades as theyre bright and different HOWEVER they didn't last very long on my lips :( i wore a bright pink/shade to work and within 3 hours it was rubbing off into clumps, i had to wipe it off with a tissue as it got frustrating. i've also tried to mix 2 shades together and it didn't work very well, theyre highly pigmented but they did leave lines on my lips from the wand. other than that i love them and i would recommend to anyone wanted to try liquid lipstick for the first time!

I have heard raves about this product and was interested to try it. The formula was a little to creamy for my liking and caked on my lips a little! I brought the pack of 5 minis, the colours are nice but should have really tested them before buying as i feel none of them suit me

I have had NY-CEE for about a year and BUDA-PASH for a few months. NY-CEEi used to wear to work at a restaurant and never had to reapply it, absolutely amazing. The other one I've worn heaps of times and absolutely love it. Some people find it really cakey and uncomfortable to wear BUT i found if you put a tiny bit of paw paw balm on before hand it works amazingly <3 100000% recommend

I have this in the shade MIL-A-NO. It's a beautiful peachy nude. I was immediately drawn to this shade as I wanted something that was easy to wear and would suit most makeup looks.

This comes in a see through tube, which is good so you can immediately see the colour. It has a screw lid and it's never leaked at all on me, I've had this for over a year. This has a slanted doe foot applicator which collects a good amount of product at the tip so you don't have to keep dipping it in to get the right amount. For me, this is where the good points end. I hate how this sits on my lips. I find it so hard to get some kind of even finish. It just looks terribly patchy. I've tried putting balm underneath which helps to lessen the patching but it is still noticeable. Once on my lips, it feels weird once it dries down. Not quite tacky and not overly dry, just weird. I really can't comment on how long it lasts as I can't stand to have it on my lips for more than 10 minutes. I hate seeing how caked it looks so I just wipe it off. I've tried it about 10 different times but I am now giving up. Possibly just this shade sucks as I know people love these lipsticks but I am not keen to try out any other shades after using this one. I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting a better matte lipstick, I personally love LA Splash.

I have a set of the minis of this - the brights I think it is. I cannot remember what the names of them all are but there's a bright Pink, a Red, A Purple & a sort of Orange/ Pink. I gave the orange one away as I hate this colour on me.

The other 3 I don't mind so much but they're not my faves.... They're quite bold statement colours that I just feel a little inappropriate in.

I find these glide on easily, they have a little soft wand in the cap. The purple I only really need one coat with while the others all needed at least 3 coats to not look patchy.

Once it dries it feels a bit strange to be honest, like I don't want to move my lips.

I do find that once I start smiling or talking a bit, it can crack a little but the colour stays on quite well. I find they start to feel a bit gritty after some time of wear...

The staying power of these is fairly incredible really! In fact I find them quite difficult to get off!

I also find them quite drying, so lip balm is essential.

I will keep these as I like to have them for the occasion where I'll need them but they are not my go to lip product.

Such a beautiful colour, Loved the end result! was a little messy to apply but not too bad that I wouldn't use it again. Love this and cant wait to get all the other colours :)

I have two of these: Mum-bai (a very dark burgundy that dries almost black) and To-ki-o (the most fabulous shade of purple).

The colours are vibrant and amazing. You don't need to go too overboard with application to get a great colour payoff. In fact you really do need to exercise some restraint with application as you can get a nasty, patchy result if you apply too much at once.

Very patient application is key with these liquid lipsticks. Prepare well with exfoliation, a good waxy lipbalm and very precise liner application. These aren't too forgiving if you go too fast and paint outside the lines! The pigmentation is strong and stains your skin quickly. It takes a bit of getting used to how much to apply is the right amount as too much or too little can look terrible. Also be patient in letting it dry completely before you press your lips together!

It lasts well if you stay away from anything greasy and be careful with your drinks. I really love these lipsticks, but they do take a bit of effort for a good result. For this reason I don't wear them every day, but I do love to get them out when I'm in the mood.

The sweet smell of the product is an added bonus too!
