Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

Great, intense pigment. Great applicator. Great packaging. Great longevity as it stays on even after eating. However, it can be a bit drying. I do find that the two colours I have (purple and orangey coloured) are too intense to wear during the day unless you're very brave.

I have this in rio d which is an orange, I thought it would be more wearable but looks so neon! It's also very drying and if you don't exfoliate it's going to look horrible. I would like to try the red but as I find the formula drying I probably won't. I've definitely tried better formulas with similar products.

These really go on and stay on, colours are super pigmented and vibrant. I do wish there was a bit of a wider shade selection with some more wearable everyday colours (which there now are). I have ended up getting rid of mine as I really don't like how they feel on my lips. They are super drying and as soon as you eat or drink they tend to start going patchy and a bit sticky.They also crack on my lips and dry then out soooo much.

I had originally received this in the shade Mal-i-boo which is an amazing shade of hot pink from NZ Girlfriend Magazine and decided I needed to purchase another copy due to wanting to get Tok-i-o which is an purple shade. I have also recently purchased Ny-cee was is a standard red due to loving these. Firstly, I love the packaging it is really cute. These also smell amazing and definitely reminds me off vanilla essence. These were the first ever matte lip product I have ever used and really loved how vibrant these are. They apply very evenly but you don't want to be mucking around due to these being drying super quickly. I find that when I wear these i only have to reapply after eating and then they are set for a long time. I would definitely repurchase these.

Huuuuuuge fan,I got these free from GF mag and i love them i have Maliboo & tokio (pink & purple) i am obsessed with these the colours are amazing so bright, stay on all day no need to reapply a tad drying but could be worse all round great product love!! I neeeeeed more colours!!!!

After months of searching trying to find one of these I came across Rio d in my 12 year old nieces bathroom. She had got it free frm the GF magazine and she HATES make up. Yay! I found this product lasts and lasts. I will be out and drink and nothing comes off on the glass. I have to use make up wipes to get it off before I get into bed. I am now going to keep hunting to try and find the other colours!

This product combines all of my favourite lipstick features - matte, bright and long lasting. The Maliboo velourlips (pink) is brighter than both my MAC Candy Yum Yum and Lancome Pink Bon Bon, a feat that I didn't think was possible to achieve. It is a statement colour that looks flawless when applied with the 'lipgloss' applicator and a little help from a lip brush. The formula applies like a thick gloss, but dries to a very matte finish that doesn't budge. Whether you are eating, drinking or talking, this product stays on for hours. I love that this is a highly pigmented lip colour however it may be too bold and drying for some.

I absolutely adore these little wonders in a tube. I own the purple and its gorgeous! These apply beautifully are long wearing and have the most gorgeous finish. The colours are all gorgeous there is something to suit everyone! Highly recommend

Vibrant, opaque, long lasting colour. Pretty much what I look for in lippies unfortunately not a single one of the shades worked on my NC42 skin tone. I really wanted to love them... Definitely something to try before you buy. I will be giving mine away to friends more suited to them. They were out of stock of the red shade when I bought so will keep an eye out for that and see if it's any better.

Love the formula, sad about the colours.

I first heard of the these whilst watching a YouTube tutorial, I then found out that they were free with the (then) current issue of Girlfriend magazine! So what did I do? I went out and bought three copies of Girlfriend magazine. It must have a been a great month for their sales as I know I'm not the only one who did this! Hah!

I ended up getting Maliboo, Tokio & Rio-D as I couldn't find the other two colours (I really really wanted Ny-Cee!)

These things are BRIGHT. Ultra violet bright. They are stunning colours & they look beautiful with a flawless face - think simple smoky eyes & glowing perfect foundation. I did end up purchasing Ny-Cee when they became available in stores a couple of months later & it is my favourite of them all. It's a beautiful deep red that looks so classic & classy.

They dry really quickly, they are a true matte & they do not budge. At all. My only gripe with them is that they can flake. Unless you have perfectly smooth & exfoliated lips to begin with then you're going to end up looking like a hot mess as the day goes on. The trick I've found is to apply as little as you possibly can. You need make up remover to get the product off so if you make a mess during application then you're going to be in trouble!

UPDATE! - I really do not like these at all. I can't handle the fact that they peel and that you cannot get them off unless you use makeup remover! I can't change my lip colour at all as it ruins the makeup around my mouth when I try to remove it =(
