Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

This is just like paint for your lips! It just does not budge of your lips once its dried fully.

I got the purple and the coral/orange colours and I love the both but saying that they are very out there and I would only really ever use them for like a dress up party or a really out there stress up night!

The consistency varies between to the two colours I have. Im not quite sure why that is, I have heard this is right for all the different colours it comes in.

The bright almost neon purple is very creamy and think so one layer is enough. while the coral/orange is milky and thin and a few layers to get the perfect lip is needed. But make sure you let every layer dry fully before applying another, but it dries super fast.

If you get any bleeding/or go out side the lines don't count on easy removal. This product dries super fast and wont budge unless you use makeup remover. Which is good for nights out.

It is a true matte and will dry with a extremely matte finish. It not for people that get dry lips easy due to the matte finish drying your lips out even more.

A few months back the Girlfriend magazine had these as a promotion - buy the magazine and get a Velourlips! I tried the purple and it was so good. The colour was so strong/intense and I only had to use one layer of it for it to completely cover my lips. It lasted so long too. Would recommend :)

Great colours and Australis is a great brand, but all in all these are quite over hyped. Very drying, and once set, crack and wear off quite quickly.

I love my velourlips, i even have all the colours :) They stay all day, dont transfer, when drinking/kissing/eating .. Just an amazing lip product all round

These are just amazing. They have good pigmentation, don't budge at all from your lips. You can even eat and not have to touch up after and best of all, they don't rub off or transfer onto anyone who may be lucky enough to get a little lip contact from you! Overall, I just love to wear these on a big night out. At the end of the night, they are always the one thing that looks exactly the same when I get home as when I left the house.

I really love this matte cream! Thanks to shaaanxo who was raving about it that I couldn't wait for it to arrive in Nz and when it arrived I bought 4 of them! This stuff is amazing, it is very very strong and vibrant with very pigmented, you only need a little smear and boom your lips are full of life! The colour is long lasting that you don't have to keep reapplying! Infact it is very long lasting because the next day I still have some colour left on my lips, it does stain the lips but with time it wears off! My favourite is the red one! So gorgeous on my lips it reminds me of classic retro movie star lips! And the best part is that it doesn't bleed not smear all over your lips and doesn't transfer on other things so easily! It's truly matte. It stays on the lips! Although because of the matte effect it can get a bit drying but that's no big deal for me. The application is very easy, it's a sponge tip like a lip gloss, it glides easily, quickly and smoothly. The smell is amazing, like a berry type lolly! I highly recommend this to everyone! I have gotten quite a number of compliments with this product! Just be aware though that these come in bold out there colours! So be ready for heads to turn!

I have these in three shades - the purple, pink and nude, and have tried the orange one also. I find the purple and nude ones apply really nicely and smoothly on the lips and wear well, but the pink and orange ones are not so great - possibly because they have more fluorescent pigment in the formula.

The finish of these is super matte but it's not at all drying on the lips. I will forget I'm even wearing this until I look in the mirror! It can move around a little after eating, especially if you're eating oily food, which will dissolve the product slightly.

I love how these come in such bold colours and they're so affordable, so definitely worth picking up!

I saw Shaanxo wearing a pink one and I knew I needed it, I was happy to find it free with a Girlfriend magazine. Really easy to apply and super pigmented, I was SO surprised that the colour didn't wear off! It's 'kiss proof!' I've never had a product like it before, I was pleasantly surprised.

My sister got one of the free $20 farmers beauty vouchers and told me I could have it and Austalis had buy 1 get one half price that day so I got this in Malibu for my half price item so I paid around $8 for it and the colour is amazing.! I feel like I need 2 layers and that is it a bit drying but nothing that I can't work with and I think even if I had to pay full price I still would I can't wait to own all of them cause I am going back to get more for sure.
