Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

They definitely deliver on their promise of a matte, long lasting lip. I find it does dry up/flake a wee but my midday/early afternoon. At that point it is easier to wipe off and reapply. Proper lip preparation is essential, scrubbing is a best idea and ensuring lips are well moisturised. If you lips are in bad condition leave it for another day. Once applied - does. It transfer and colour is rich. If you don't like the feel of matte lip products this is not for you.

went and got the Paree one due to the amazing reviews that are everywhere atm! love the colour and how it is for the first 15 mins then it does tend to get very dry! still love it though and its so long lasting

I have two of these - the pink and the orange - and wear them whenever I want a really statement lip. They are easy to apply, and have an amazing colour with a really matte finish. I find they last well, though I am still careful when eating and drinking, as they can crack. I find wear first starts to show on the inner part of the lips. Reapplication is possible but can look gross if not done carefully. Removing it is a challenge, but worth it for the look they give.

I have these in a pink, purple and red and I just love them! I reeeeally love how they dry and don't just rubof like any other lipstick irur lip gloss,I hate hate hate stick lip gloss so thanks so much for the flawless matte finish

This is the best drugstore lip product I have tried. The colour payoff is excellent they're so pigmented. The packaging is really cute and the product itself lasts. It goes on matte like it says. It is very creamy and smells amazing too. I definitely recommend this lip cream to everyone. However I wouldn't recommend wearing to lunch or dinner, it does start to look rough when eating. And if you have to reapply you have to wipe it all off and start again. The hot pink and red stain your lips also which I don't mind but others might not like so much.

After hearing amazing reviews about this product, i decided to purchase it and give it a go. It was VERY pigmented. I found that it starts to wear a little during eating and drinking so reapplication is needed and they are kissproof! I found it hard to remove but that's a plus right? since you want something to stay on all day!

Since seeing a lot of girls photos on Make up Obsessives page, I decided to give it a go and buy it ($10 on the australis website), and what can I say, its beautiful, I purchased the paree one, which is nude and gives me that thicker lip look. It is matte as it says, and can be a little drying. The smell is kind of sweet, like a hint of chocolate I might add ? I love it over my limecrime velvetines.

I have two of these in the shades maliboo and Tokyo. The colours are amazing and are totally matte. However I found that over time the colour would flake and little bits would crumble, particularly from the middle of my bottom lip after eating and drinking. Due to the nature of the product this would leave big bald patches with no colour. The applicator is perfect for the job, packaging is fine but looks a bit basic.

I have heard AMAZING things about this product however whenever I wear it I have to keep reapplying it, even if i'm just chatting with friends over a cup of coffee. I could be doing something wrong but I find after 15minutes I can feel it chipping and making my lips look all wrinkly. Such a cool product its just a shame it does this for me :(

Wow! Never mind the basic packaging and boring container, open them up and the pigment is amazing! They smell very sweet and candy like , kind of reminds me of hubba bubba chewing gum. The applicator is great and perfect for applying this lipstick, I find they last much much longer than your regular lipstick and I love the Matte finish. They do feel I bit funny on your lips , but I can live with that considering the pigment is true to color and barely budges. I did have to reapply after eating or drinking but only in the middle if my bottom lip, and they are defiantly kiss proof haha. Before applying I always scrub and moisturize my lips because if I don't and have dry lips this matte formula makes dry lips look 10x worse . If you love matte lipstick , great price , amazing pigment and a lipstick that lasts longer than many others , you should defiantly try them I have 3 and love them all and will buying the rest!
