Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

I have an Australis velourlips in the colour Paree. Paree is a nude colour and it is a very nice every day nude colour. The veloulips are very pigmented and the applicator is easy to use. The liquid lipstick dries matte instantly and the product is very affordable. The only downside to this liquid lipstick is that it makes my lips very dry so I can't wear this every day.

This is a nice creamy product that goes on well with its applicator. It's highly pigmented and lasts ages, it does everything you want a liquid lipstick to do. My ONLY issue (which is a big one for me) is that it is very drying on the lips, it can also start to crack throughout the day as your lips dry out (the cracking can easily be fixed by swiping on another layer of the lipstick). The price is wonderful, the colours are wonderful, but the drying aspect puts me off, I would definitely wear this product for a few hours but would not purchase as something to wear all day as it gets too uncomfortable on my lips.

Australis Velourlips Matte Cream was the first matte lipstick I tried. It applies very nice and smooth and dries relatively quick. There are a good range of colors and the formula is so pigmented you only need one coat to get a great color payoff. There is no scent to this which is a good thing and does not give me an allegic reaction. Things I did not like : The matte cream was quite thin and streaky and was not buildable and cracked and was sticky after 2 coats.

I had been after the people shade if this ever since I first saw it at Farmers but it was sold out for ages. I finally got my hands on it and I'm in 2 minds. On one hand the colour is AMAZING. I always get loads of compliments on it. But it's the most drying matte lip product I've ever used! Matte lips are my favorite and I've used lots of great matte products, but this is so dry even with a lip balm and primer I can only wear it for a few hours before it drives me mad. Buy if you're only going out for dinner or something this is perfect

I really adore how pigmented the Australia Velourlips are, the colours come out looking just how you would expect them to and they go on very thick and look absolutely stunning on! However, I found that they made my lips very dry and if I drank or ate while wearing it, it would flake off and start to look a wee bit yucky. If it wasn't for the fact that they didn't stay looking lovely for the whole day I would wear these bad boys all the time!

I'm perfectly happy with the formula for these products but I wasn't a major fan of the colours that I have - they just weren't very wearable with my skin tone. These were free with a magazine though, so if I was to repurchase them I would take a better look at colour options.

These liquid lipsticks are good for the price of $15. They smell amazing and have a great colour range. My only downfalls is that you can only put on one layer before it starts to go all patchy and uneven. Putting on another layer also makes it almost go crumbly? And they are super super drying. I feel like that there are better ones out there for the same price range

I honestly love this product. It really does what it said it would. It last longer and it is pigmented. The only thing I hate about this is, it's very sticky and feels weird on my lips.

I love this product for the incredible pigment... I mean seriously it's insane and this product does last well too. They also have a beautiful and diverse colour range, something for everyone.

Their may only be one downside to this product compared to the many positives but it's this one downside that keeps me reaching for other matte lipsticks vs. this one.

This lipstick dries out your lips like none other (in my personal experience).... I don't know, maybe I got one from a bad batch, maybe they've improved the formula (because I haven't been able to bring myself to buy another one) but whenever I wear this, it dries out my lips so badly and it does wear away in the middle of your lips quite quickly... but beware because if you dare put another layer of this overtop to touch up, you are fated to a terrible night of crunchy, dry, crumbly lips.

I want to love this.... and a part of me does but I just can't deal with how it makes my lips feel. I really should try another couple colours, maybe the formula has improved but with what I've tried I would rather choose a different matte lipstick then this.
