This powder is fantastic. It doesn't look too cakey and it sets my face perfectly, keeping my makeup in place for hours. The shade range is awful, but if you can find your shade I definitely recommend it. If I'm in a hurry I'll use this alone just to even out my skin tone. It doesn't last as long by itself but it's still a good quick cover up. It provides a good amount of coverage alone or can take a liquid from medium to full coverage if used right.

Tips: I use this with a large powder brush but if I want more coverage I'll use the sponge.
I got the lightest shade so I could use it solely to set my makeup as I find powders ether cake or are to orangy on my skin tone when used alone. BUT in a rush one more I just used this and it was perfect, no caking, no breakouts and removed the oily shine to my face ( yay ) I find that you need to use a good amount to get a decent coverage but its cheap enough to replace when empty. The case is ok, not as durable as my others but is by no means flimsy. I think I paid around $15/$18 from kmart
Tips: Use to set or as a powder coverage
I have this in the shade natural, I purchased this because I read really impressive reviews on BR and I really needed a decent powder to go over my make-up.
This by far lived up to my expections, it's just that good! This creates a flawless natural looking finish over my bb cream while adding in a bit more coverage.
I use my real techniques multi tasking brush to apply. What I do is get product on the brush and then lightly dab over my entire face. I then very lightly dab the brush on the powder compact again and apply if I'm wanting more. I apply it like this so it doesn't look fake and cakey (got this tip from shaaanxo).
The packaging is good, I like that there is a mirror and comes with a sponge for any emergencies while I'm out.
Overall I love this powder, I will even go as far to say it's my holy grail! Yup I seriously love this. I absoutely do recommend this if your looking for something to set your make-up with creating a flawless finish.
P.s I don't use this alone as it's not enough for me, I like a full coverage.
Tips: Don't apply too much or it'll look cakey. Lightly dab the product on with your favourite make-up brush.
I finally purchased this after reading amazing reviews about this product and had to try it for myself.
Consistency - This product is a densely packed pressed powder.
Application - I used this product to set my liquid foundation, to apply to my face I use an ELF kabuki brush.
Coverage - This product adds to the coverage my liquid foundation provides but on its on it provides low to medium coverage.
Usage - I have been using this product every day for around 3 months now and am no way near hitting pan, this product will definitely last me quite a while.
Price - This product is priced about the same as other "drugstore" powders, it is definitely an affordable product.
Packaging - The packaging of this product is a sleek black compact with a clear window in the top, this allows you to see the product. The inside compact also lifts up and has a sponge stored underneath which is great for travelling. The packaging reminds me somewhat of the old mac packaging.
Results - This product adds to the coverage that my liquid foundation provides and sets it in place without leaving my face looking "cakey". This also mattified my face without leaving it on the extreme side of matte but I didn't need to touch up with my powder throughout the day either.
Skin Type- I have very fair combination, blemish prone skin. I get an oily t zone but other areas of my face often get dry.
Repurchase - I will definitely be repurchasing this product when my current one runs out.
Tips: Look out for the 3 for the price of 2 deals they sometimes have on Australis at Farmers.
This powder is amazing, I absolutely love it. It's the first pressed powder I've really had in a while, and I am very impressed. It sets your foundation well for the day, it provides a light coverage, and really does help to make you look flawless. This has a 'matte' finish, but it won't emphasise dry spots on those of us with dry, dehydrated or combination skin. Overall this is a fantastic powder and I would highly recommend it to everyone - it's a must have for anybodies make-up collection.
Tips: The shade range isn't the best, so if you aren't an 'average' shade, you might have some trouble.
Bought this powder after hearing so much about it and really recommend it.
I use it to set my makeup as im not a fan of wearing powders alone but it does a great job, it adds to my coverage and makes my foundation last longer.
My only concern is the lack of shades available, and the shades do have quite an orange undertone BUT if you find a shade that suits you then this product is well worth buying.
Tips: I apply using an ELF Kabuki Brush, less is more with this product and it can look cakey if you overdo it!
I purchased this product last year as had heard many great things about it being amazing and a dupe for MAC. Being in OZ at the time it only costed me about $4 which is such a small fraction of the MAC retail price I wish I had brought more as after trying it out when I got home I fell in love!
I have it in the shade natural which I think was the lightest shade though there wasn't much to choose from. This is one of the only powders I have tried that doesn't go orange on my pale skin!
I usually apply after my foundation with whatever brush I pick up first whether it be a Kabuki or just a regular 'powder brush' as I find the results are the same. It definitely does give you a 'Fresh & Flawless' look. On days where I just want to wear a concealer I will still powder with this as even though it only gives me a light coverage it still manages to give my face the fresh & flawless look but nice and subtle. I have tried it with different coverage foundations and it never looks cakey when applied on top which makes it even more awesome.
I have been using this almost daily for about 3 months and have yet to hit pan so I am very very happy with that but I will definitely repurchase when the time comes to replace it.
The packaging could be a lot smaller as it has a compartment under the powder with a sponge and mirror that I never use but it is still compact enough to easily take along in my bag with me.
I first read that this powder was a dupe for more expensive pressed powders last year sometime, and I'm glad somebody figured that out! I don't have spare money lying about to spend large amounts on products when you can buy something similar for half the price! I have the shade deep natural which is the middle shade, I haven't decided yet whether this shade is a bit to dark for me so after this powder is finished I might try the lighter shade. I use this powder after applying liquid foundation with the real techniques powder brush, it gives me a matte finish with still a little bit of shine which I do like. My skin type is combination - normal to oily and sometimes dry. I do find that later on in the day I have to repowder just a little bit around my nose and chin area but I have no complaints with that. A down side is the limited choice on colours so this powder is not suitable for everyone but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative and it's the right shade for you defianatly give it a try!
I was given this powder as a gift from a friend and instantly fell inlove! Its so amazing! It goes on so softly and smooth covers great and has a pretty good staying power. I love this on top of my foundations to give a more full coverage look. I use them sponge it comes with to apply as i find it works great for me. And the colour is a near perfect match for my skin. I cant say enough good things about this powder. Ive been to repurchase this and its a great price from farmers for $19 so its very affordable for the job it does.
Tips: Apply alone or after foundation. You can use your own powder brush but i just use what it comes with and put into hand bag for easy applying later. Don't apply to much as it can start to look cakey and very powdery slightly orange if to much is applied. If using alone can wipe product one (if using sponge it comes with) if using on top of a foundation i would recommend dabbing it on face to get less chance of apply to much.
I always used to use translucent powders to set my makeup, as every other coloured powder would turn my face orange no matter how light the shade was. I saw Brittney Lee Saunders rave about this powder and thought I would give it a try, I got the lightest shade (natural? I think) and it is perfect. Sets my foundation and doesn't make me look orange! Just fresh and flawless!! Haha. But seriously, this is the best powder, I am almost out of my original compact and will be buying another one.
